Avis : Hotel Indigo Bintan Lagoi Beach by IHG

There are several blocks in the resort and we were assigned a room in the block closest to the pool/beach so we had a really good view! Note that there’s no lift in this block since there’s only 2 floors. Environment and room are very comfortable. All staff are very nice and friendly too. We went for the tanjak souvenir making class and it was fun! Some downsides: •A lot of houseflies and mosquitoes especially after it rains. •Some dishes with chicken or beef, the meat can be a bit tough. But there’s enough variety to choose from😊

Had a great stay at the Hotel Indigo! The room was super clean and comfy, with all the essentials. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. Loved the breakfast buffet—so many tasty options! Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for kids. Make sure to use the kids club at the adjacent holiday inn. Bring socks for the indoor playroom

Service started right after pass immigration at the ferry terminal. They provide free shuttle to the hotel from terminal and we were surprised they already have our name on their list even though we did not inform them we are coming via ferry. Good service from all hotel staff and I love that we can get their help and services via whatapps instead of calling the reception or walking to the lobby. As there are nothing much to do in the hotel, a short staycation would be enough. Breakfast buffet was ok, would be better if have more choices. We had dinner at Stix Satay Bar and it was good.

I had a wonderful holiday at Indigo. The environment was beautiful and comfortable, and the staff were very polite. In particular, the employee who drove us for pickup was extremely helpful—he assisted me in reporting a problem, and it was resolved quickly. I truly appreciate his help, though I regret that I forgot his name. Overall, I had a great experience. The only downside was the communication issue. I was initially told that I would be contacted via WhatsApp for pickup, but that didn’t happen, and I almost had to walk back to the hotel. Despite this, I would still choose to stay at this hotel the next time I visit Bintan.

Super heartwarming, friendly and professional service! Love our stay at Hotel Indigo Bintan! Each and every staff truly went the extra mile to ensure that we were very well taken care of. I appreciated the high levels of care, starting from the exclusive waiting lounge at the Bintan ferry terminal, the complimentary BYD car transfers to and fro the hotel from the ferry terminal, the sheltered buggy rides all around the resort to ensure that we will stay dry in the monsoon rainy weather, the delicious and lovingly prepared semi-buffet breakfasts with ala carte options for main courses prepared upon order, the beautifully decorated and spacious rooms, the complimentary activities everyday to keep guests entertained etc. Most of all, all service staff are always greeting us with bright smiles throughout our stay! Hope to come back to visit again soon!

Was a wonderful trip that certainly exceeded my expectations. Staff were ALL consistently friendly and helpful, going beyond their way to help us with any issues at all, much appreciated! No regrets booking the trip and would love to return. Food and drinks were truly great too! Esp the Hot Taro Latte!

The property has lots of potential and service staff have wonderful attitude. it just opened in Oct, so not everything is fully up just yet. It was generally a nice stay but several small disappointments added up and we conclude we would stay elsewhere if we returned to Bintan (although probably not soon). - we were fortunate to get the room early at check-in (~1230pm) cos the room was ready. - F&B team had the most hiccups. we had late lunch on the first day - the restaurant was not busy but they could not cope with orders. we waited over 40mins and other tables that came later were served before us. food was not even piping hot when it arrived, which is weird—was it sitting around and just not served?? - subsequent days’ breakfast at the same and only restaurant also always had something up. e.g. long waits, forgotten orders, and when we asked about items, two of them would turn up. that said, all the staff were super nice, and we’re grateful — albeit still disappointed. - the room was very pretty but there’s an impractical design flaw on the hanging lamp on the bedside. it rattles every now and then due to the AC. i ignored it fine but it drove my husband mad 😅 he had to cushion it with a hand towel. - the in-room phone was also strange. we had to try many times to dial ‘0’ for guest services — there’s no other number to call. it sometimes sounded like it was ringing/connecting but nothing was happening. - housekeeping didn’t clean our room the whole time we were out on day 2. only came when we were back resting at 5+pm. - indigo doesn’t allow sharing of facilities with sister hotel, which frankly is a missed opportunity these days. i’ve lost count of the number of resorts who do it and market it as a plus point. it almost seems weird that they don’t when it’s virtually connected to IHG. - hadn’t realise this but they don’t brand themselves as a family hotel so there’s no kids club. don’t pick this place if u need a place to entertain your kids. i was surprised that a beach resort didn’t have a kids club 😆 - the hotel wanted to impose a surcharge on my 5yo who was sharing the same room same bed and not (in my opinion) consuming significantly more resources than another guest who may have been just a couple without a kid. we’ve been to many other properties that brag a “kids stay free” concept unless u ask for an extra pullaway bed. anyways, while the charge is relatively common, when asked about what the charge goes toward, the explanation i was offered was weak. and after the stay, all the more i didn’t feel there was much to justify this so called additional charge.

Elegant entrance, inspiring designs, friendly complimentary meet and greet service from the ferry terminal. Staff are attentive and thoughtful. Very helpful on assisting with transfers and bookings too. Suite I've checked in is so cool with pool and sea view. Such a peaceful staycation I've had! Massage I've got is awesome too! I can feel that she is thoroughly and carefully handle all my stressful spot! My partner said how come you sleep so deep last night? Because of the amazing massage! Love it!!! Thanks for celebrating birthday for my partner too!

Newly opened hotel with local food in a modern twist. Probably better with couples or retirees looking just to chill and relax with fantastic beach front. Limited activities for families with young children.

A special touch was the thoughtful wedding anniversary decorations and the delicious chocolate cake left in our room – a delightful surprise that made our celebration even more memorable.
