The check-in was easy and pleasant with the friendly lady. My room on floor two is accessible by lift or stairs and the room was immaculately clean. Superb breakfast with quality ingredients. Will 100% stay again in this charming lovely hotel good location near a tram stop.

Stayed in many Hotels and have to say very pleasantly surprised of the quality of this establishment. Staff outstanding and food amazing, great location with free ample parking. Tram stop just a short stroll down the prom. Believe I stayed in room 214 Seaview spacious and very clean room which really made the weekend being able to sit and watch the world go by and the Mirror Ball lit up at night. Top marks Highlands, there is not a bad word to say, hope to be back again.

What a great hotel and can recommend. All the staff were friendly; breakfast and dinner were very good. The bed and pillows were comfortable and my corner bedroom would have had great views of the sea if the windows had not had what I think was sea spray on them from all the recent storms. I was allowed to come in out the recent storm and check in two hours ahead of the scheduled check-in time so that was an additional kindness. There was some evidence that some aspects of my en-suite had recently been refurbished but other fixtures still needed updating. All in all though, The Headlands was a very good experience and very good value.

Good honest friendly family run hotel. Comfortable with excellent breakfast. Great location and ample parking. Will stay again. Close to tram stop. Very reasonable prices and my room had a sea view. Staff were very helpful. A bit like stepping back in time in a positive way.

Stayed here for one night. Its on a quieter part of the sea front, south of the pleasure beach. It was great value, we got a nice friendly welcome and a good breakfast. The building is a bit tired (the bedrooms in particular need a refurb) but it has a bit of character and we enjoyed our overnight stay here. 3.5 would be fair!

The Headlands is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful town. Charles and his staff are amazing. Always friendly and helpful and intent on making sure you have a wonderful stay. My room overlooked the beach which was fantastic, on a clear day you can see the Welsh headlands which is where the hotel gets its name. I loved the full English breakfast they cooked me every day (in fact all the food was tremendous) it was a real treat as I don't eat like that very often. The hotel is in a great location and was very handy for going into town to see a band at the Waterloo Bar (another great place) I would wholeheartedly recommend the Headlands hotel to everyone.

As always a warm welcome (well, I say that loosely as we consider all staff as friends so welcome banter always good fun). Perfect location for our weekend, short tram / walk to Opera House for a gig on Friday and very close to our playground Blackpool Pleasure Beach. We didn’t have dinner this weekend but breakfast as always we had the works, fruit juice and cereal, followed by a full cooked, with toast and served on hot plates. Set us up for the day. Stayed at Headlands for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time there. On arrival we were greeted by Phil on reception who gave us all the help and information we needed to get settled. The room was lovely and clean with all the usual facilities you would expect. The Headlands is located towards the southern end of the front past the Pleasure Beach and is ideal if you like things a little quieter. There is on-site parking which is really handy too. There are 2 nice lounges to relax in and a small bar on the ground floor. The breakfast was an absolute treat every day and what was clear during our stay was that nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We would be very happy to return to this hotel and could highly recommend it.

A lovely, friendly, family-run hotel. Occupying a corner location on South Promenade it has fabulous sea views, including, on a clear day, the north Wales coast (whence it derives its name). It has a very atmospheric oak-panelled dining room, sun lounge, television room and relaxing sea-facing bar and games room. The tram stop is within a cricket ball's throw and it is only minutes to Blackpool's main attractions ( but go the full distance to Fleetwood Ferry if you have time. Fleetwood is a lovely town in its own right.) At the date of this review a day rover ticket costs £6 giving unlimited travel.
