Our experience was a positive one, the lodgings we had were connected so the total area was quite spacious. Beautifully decorated, emanating the noble traits of a classy era, with hand-painted walls and ceilings, comfortable mattresses, paned windows and a lovely balcony / terrace, it certainly met our expectations. The rooms are equipped with amenities, a hairdryer, espresso machine and kettle the owners kindly offer capsules and tea bags). Donatella & her daughter Francesca (the owners, who are also running the Villa) are friendly and willing to help / make recommendations. Breakfast is served in an idyllic area overlooking the lake. Although breakfast included, cereals, cold cuts, cheeses, berries, melon, cakes and they make excellent omelettes and soft or hard boiled eggs, my only “complaint” was that the bread could have been slightly better (I found it hard all three days we spent there). Also, they might consider adding poached eggs on toast as an option. The Villa has a parking garage, in case you are traveling by car, however, the road to get you to the Villa is not exactly the best: narrow, curvy and at some point (we were traveling with a VW Transporter) we thought we were gonna get stuck.
