The Victorian Inn Blowing Rock

The remodel is outstanding. We stayed in suite #2 and loved it. Comfy bed, wonderful sitting area, fantastic shower. It's a bonus to have the fridge and wine glasses are provided if you bring your own wine to the room. The communication was great too. I have visited Blowing Rock on several occasions and you can walk everywhere when staying at this Inn. Only small complaint would be the curtains need a blackout liner. The light that shines in at night is horrendous. The windows are wonderful during the day, but a sleep mask is a must!! Also, no central air/heat it's wall units. This did not bother us. Great value....loved our stay!

My wife and I went there for a short 2 day getaway. This place is FANTASTIC! The units have been completely redone since the last time we were there. The owners did a beautiful job. Very nice, clean, updated, comfortable and convenient to everything in Blowing Rock. You'll love it!

we spent New Year's there and excellent stay .... very clean and excellent accommodations... great location... would love to visit again in warm weather to sit outside ... great place.....walking distance to great restaurnts

The cutest building! Easy checkin in process, spacious, and felt very clean and new. Close to downtown and many restaurants, we walked everywhere! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Blowing Rock!

The Victorian Inn has many positve attributes, with its location being a real stand out. It is located a few short blocks from downtown Blowing Rock, allowing guests to be on a quiet street close to all that Blowing Rock has to offer. Our room was good sized and had a large television, a microwave, a coffee machine, a large and comfortable king size bed, an electric fireplace, a claw foot tub, and a walk-in shower. The room was extremely clean. The primary draw back to our stay was the entry keypad to our room. I had to bend down on my knees every time I used it (and I am only 5 foot 6 inches tall). The keypad is placed way too low. In addition, it is not illuminated until you touch it. Unfortunately, once you touch it, you have used up one of the numbers / symbols that allow it to open, making the code you tried to put in incorrect. A few minutes after entering our room (we called the Housekeeper regarding how to get the keypad to work properly), we met another guest trying to figure out how to enter her room. Going contactless can be fine, but experiencing frustration at the very beginning of a stay is not the way to go. My wife and I have stayed in rooms that used keypads before, and never experienced these difficulties. Another problem my wife and I had with the room was the height of the rod in the closet. It is way too high, and my wife had extreme difficulty hanging up her clothes. We both had to stand on our toes to hang up our clothes. Lowering the rod would be an easy fix. Despite the above mentioned problems, overall, we had a positive experience at the Inn.

A wonderfully decorated, comfortable, private rooms with luxury linens. Coffee and mini fridge in room. Conveniently located in Blowing Rock and quick, 2 block walk to main street with shopping and restaurants available .

Quaint hotel bedding was excellent but was needed as the room was so cold even when we turned the ac unit off . Everything was cold in the morning including those clothes in the suitcase . For this reason I could not recommend staying I am sorry .

The pillows and bed were the best ever. The room had lovely views and was well catered for with fresh tea coffee biscuits (out of date) so didn’t eat them. Air con lovely but downstairs remote worked our light and fan so thought that was funny when it came on randomly .

Very Clean and updated. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful Garden outside our room. Rooms are smaller than average with only one chair to sit down and next to air conditioner. There is no ice machine offered at property nor is there a lobby with employee to help when needed. That may or may not be a problem for some people.
