JJohnTingFirstly the reason why my wife and I decided on this boutique hotel was to sample the overall standard of the new crop of small locally operated boutique hotels springing out over China.
Generally happy with our choice and decision.
We were greeted upon checking in and daily when we went out and coming back by the young man who was managing the establishment.
A great personal touch was that he actually came out of his office and greeted us at the courtyard with a ready smile.
Location was good as it was relatively near to Longmen Grotto and also the famous lamb soup for breakfast (we were given complimentary vouchers for our first day breakfast by the hotel. Although the place was across the road from the hotel, we had to walk about 1.1km each way as the crossing could only be made at the traffic light zebra crossing.
One ”romantic” feeling my wife and I had was hearing the low rumbling of the freight train transversing across the hotel. It reminded us of staying in the English countryside and hearing the train in the distance.
Light sleepers might find this distracting but we are h
eavy sleepers.
Another selling point of this hotel was the well manicured courtyard planted with lots of different varieties of flowering plants and trees.
It was an excellent place for us to relax in the late afternoon after some heavy sightseeing.
The only downside and hopefully the hotel operator can improve is that the floor of the room seems to be a bit dusty because the floor towel in the washroom started to show stains of dust.
However, everything else is clean especially the important items like bedding and towels.
Strawberries were bought after visiting Erlitou Archaeological Museum and Site

UUtilisateur anonymeUne des meilleures homestay que j'ai faites !! Situé très proche de l'ancienne ville de Luoyang, on peut s'y rendre à pied. La réception est très accueillante face aux étrangers, le petit déjeuner est servie dans vos chambres, vous choisissez la veille, ils offrent également un petit déjeuner local, la soupe de mouton.
La chambre est spacieuse elle conviendrai très bien à un couple.

UUtilisateur anonymeNous avons pris un bon petit-déjeuner tous les jours et avons même reçu un panier de fruits frais dans notre chambre tous les jours. Deux centres commerciaux (un ancien principalement destiné à la nourriture et un centre commercial « Dennis ») sont accessibles à pied. Nous avons utilisé Didi pour nous déplacer, ce qui n'a pas posé de problème.

IInvitéThis has to be on of the best hotels I’ve ever visited! Christian’s hotel is modern, bright, scrupulously clean and with all the mod cons you could ask for, but their real claim to fame has to be the staff. Many hotels claim their staff are there to give guests a good experience - but at this hotel they really are! At every level, staff went out of their way to check everything was OK for me, put right any issues, and actively look for ways to please me. Examples are: 1) when I dropped coffee at breakfast the girl who came to help wouldn’t start cleaning the mess until she’d made sure I hadn’t been scalded or stained my clothes, 2) my toothpaste was near it’s end - I returned to find a ‘tube squeezer’ to help empty it, 3) I travel with medication and returned to find a very useful pill box put next to the packets! All fairly small gestures, but they demonstrate how the staff go out of their way for their guests. The food at breakfast was of top quality, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. My only disappointment was that I had to move on to another city - I would have preferred to stay at Christian’s for longer!!

JJianxingjianyuan1003L'hôtel se trouve dans la rue ancienne de Longmen ; les taxis ne peuvent pas y accéder directement, il faut donc marcher environ 400 mètres depuis l'arrêt de taxi. De nombreux restaurants se trouvent à proximité, et l'hôtel est également à quelques centaines de mètres de la porte nord-ouest des grottes de Longmen. Le cadre est excellent, les chambres sont spacieuses et les installations sont neuves ; je le recommande vivement. Un grand merci également au personnel de la réception pour leur aide avec mes bagages à la station de taxis ; leur service était impeccable. Le petit-déjeuner, bien que simple, était très copieux, et le personnel du restaurant était incroyablement accueillant !

IInvitéLe meilleur hôtel où j'ai séjourné !
Tout était absolument parfait. La décoration est magnifique et élégante, et l'hôtel est d'une propreté irréprochable. Le personnel parle un peu anglais, mais surtout, ils étaient incroyablement gentils, serviables et toujours prêts à nous aider.
Ils ont organisé nos transferts depuis et vers la gare, nous ont réservé un restaurant en appelant en chinois et nous ont même aidés à réserver un chauffeur privé pour une excursion d'une journée : tout était parfaitement organisé !
Nous avons également dîné à l'hôtel, c'était délicieux, avec un service impeccable. Le petit-déjeuner était également excellent, avec un large choix de plats de qualité.
Félicitations à toute l'équipe ! Je recommande vivement !

IInvitéProblem 1. I arrived at the hotel shortly after 4pm on the checkin day but learned that the room was not available. They rented it out for the hourly rental and told me that the guest just checked out and would take 20 minutes to clean the room for me. I was stuned! As the check in time is 2pm, how could they rent the room out without knowing it was reserved for nightly rental and it only took 20 minutes to clean a room? This kind of operatons is not acceptable. Though the staff was friendly and apologizingly to provide me another type of room, the bed size ( twins) and the window view (no view) were all different and not better. At first I considered to switch what they offered at the time of my arrival because I was very tired. But then I decided to wait because the new room was not better.
Problem 2. At night, when I took a shower, I realized that the water stored in the shower floor like a little basin. It didn't and couldn't get complete dry even till next morning. See photo. The moles have alreay formed a cycle for a period of the time, but the hotel didn't fix it and still rented it.
Problem 3. Another day, I couldn't turn the heater on. The staff then told me they turned the heater off at the end of March.
I will NOT recommend this hotel to other travelers.

IInvitéJe suis venue cet après-midi, une personne de cinq personnes, cinq personnes ne sont pas bonnes à faire des courses. Il est trop approprié de vivre dans cet hôtel comme première station. L'hôtel est gratuit pour prendre des voitures à grande vitesse, puis l'hôtel est dans la cave de Longmen Stein, avec un élévateur, c'est vraiment la première option pour prendre des enfants et des personnes âgées. Je suis allé à la zone de scène demain, je suis allé à la bagage et je suis allé à l'extérieur, je ne veux pas marcher, un téléphone est venu pour l'élévateur de l'hôtel. Et l'hôtel est très propre, la réception Madandan, l'élévateur est très enthousiasmé et très invité, super.

WWilsonWe had a very pleasant 4 night stay at the Banshan Siji Hotel in Luoyang. The resort is beautiful and secluded, away from all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Luoyang while remaining accessible. The location is very convenient to the high speed rail station, Longmen Grottoes, Guang Lin Temple and Peony Museum. It’s a bit further away to get to White Horse Temple, Lintang Gate and Luoyi Ancient City. However, the hotel offers a very convenient and comfortable private shuttle for train/airport transfer and a daily trips to or from town.
Above all, I have to commend the team at this hotel for their excellent service and extremely friendly attitude. Everyone went out of their way to offer assistance for any of our needs and always with a smile. A huge bonus - they offered a complementary same-day laundry service which we used several times during our stay taking care of a major hassle on extended travels. From the reception, front desk, porters, drivers and housekeepers, we received top notch service rivalling hotels we’ve stayed at worldwide.
The breakfast also deserves special mention. The selection was not as extensive as buffets at some major hotels but the quality was excellent and we found it to be more than enough to start each day before sightseeing. In addition to a small self serve area, you can order large bowls soup or noodles and they also provide a beautiful tray of delicacies. We very much enjoyed each day’s breakfast.
Finally, the room we stayed in, with a private hot spring tub and private patio was spacious, clean, modern and beautiful. We enjoyed use the tub after full days of sightseeing to ease aching muscles and the bed was very comfortable. On our final night, we did experience a problem with a light switch not turn lights but the staff were quick to provide us another room so we could get to sleep. Another great example of their dedication to quality service.
Overall, I was very pleased to have discovered this beautiful gem in Luoyang and it made our visit to this wonderful city that much more special and memorable.

IInvitéDans l'ensemble, mon séjour a été agréable. La chambre était bien agencée et facile à ranger, et l'insonorisation correcte. Située en face d'une rue et d'un centre commercial, elle est assez bruyante en journée, mais reste calme la nuit. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et le café excellent. Le personnel était très aimable et accueillant, aidant avec les bagages et saluant les clients avec le sourire, notamment à la réception où l'on m'a spontanément fourni des informations sur la région. BellaLi a été particulièrement serviable pour prolonger mon séjour ; son service était très attentionné. Je suggère toutefois de retirer les poubelles des parties communes du rez-de-chaussée, car cela serait gênant.
