Hôtels à Chester avec petit déjeuner

L'hôtel est moderne et propre avec une bonne vibe. Bon emplacement, 10 minutes à pied du centre ville et près de la gare. Bon choix de restaurants et bars/bars à proximité.

Checking in at the main Oddfellows hotel was smooth but it would have helped to have the exact address of the apartment in advance, so we could park more easily. There is one parking space at the apartment but it is a tight entrance! Apartment 5 was upstairs and very spacious. The lounge/kitchen/diner was well set up and the tea and coffee available was very welcome. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large, comfy and clean (but could do with a few hooks for towels or coats). There is even a laundry room. Decof is quirky and the location is great - just off the main streets. Fabulous place to stay.

Les chambres étaient propres et bien rangées, et l'emplacement de l'hôtel était excellent, juste à l'extérieur des remparts, ce qui permettait d'explorer facilement Chester à pied. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux. L'hôtel offrait un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Un grand parking se trouvait devant l'établissement, mais le stationnement coûtait 10 £. Le ticket de parking indiquait deux jours, mais je ne suis pas certain qu'il s'agisse bien d'un tarif pour deux jours. Pour les touristes qui passent la nuit, un tarif journalier serait plus raisonnable. Dans l'ensemble, je recommande vivement cet hôtel ; il est pratique et abordable.

Lovely hotel and great location however the room was disappointing for the price, one of the armchairs was badly damaged and the other brown stains on the material. Sections of wallpaper were peeling off which gave it a very tired appearance. The iron board was also broke and we had to prop it up on a chair. The room we booked looked nothing like the images on the advertisement and I had to check with reception we had the correct room. For £330 a night I don’t feel we had a premium room, the staff however were lovely and very welcoming.

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Great location for all the sights in Chester.  Would recommend to family and friends

Really clean and tidy room and we had the best night sleep on the comfiest bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location was at the Center of Chester which made everything easier to get too. It was right by the shops and loads of places to eat. Self service breakfast with plenty of choice enjoyed everything and hope to visit again.

Décevant petit déjeuner et très peu d'options pour dîner. Pas d'ascenseur pour accéder aux étages supérieurs où sont situées les chambres. Un séjour décevant. Spa et salles de sport étaient bons, mais les serviettes étaient trop petites.

On the first night I was out in a small room which was stuffy and unventilated, however after complaining I was put in a much nicer room for the rest of my stay. The second room had a good view and a/c. Location is superb for Chester Centre.

Handy location for travel to North Wales and an easy drive to Chester. Hotel rooms are dated. We only had one bedside cabinet and lamp in a double room.The wardrobe door was in danger of falling off. Room looked out onto another part of the building. A storeroom or something. No window in en suite. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Breakfast was of limited choice but adequate. The public areas and pool facilities were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
