Hôtels à Chester avec petit déjeuner

J'ai séjourné ici récemment pendant 5 jours. Expérience fantastique ! Le personnel est incroyablement serviable. Je n'ai pas retenu les noms de tous les membres du personnel, mais Dave en particulier a été extrêmement serviable et s'est mis en quatre pour régler immédiatement deux problèmes de stationnement. Le parking est le seul véritable point faible de l'hôtel, car il est petit et les places sont attribuées selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi, mais cela ne m'empêcherait certainement pas de revenir. Les chambres sont excellentes et d'une propreté impeccable. Le centre-ville est facilement accessible à pied en 10 minutes et de jolies promenades longent le canal qui borde l'hôtel. Si vous ne souhaitez pas être réveillé par la musique de la salle de sport du rez-de-chaussée vers 6h30, évitez les chambres du premier étage. Cela ne nous a cependant pas du tout dérangés, car nous étions contents de nous lever tôt.

Checking in at the main Oddfellows hotel was smooth but it would have helped to have the exact address of the apartment in advance, so we could park more easily. There is one parking space at the apartment but it is a tight entrance! Apartment 5 was upstairs and very spacious. The lounge/kitchen/diner was well set up and the tea and coffee available was very welcome. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large, comfy and clean (but could do with a few hooks for towels or coats). There is even a laundry room. Decof is quirky and the location is great - just off the main streets. Fabulous place to stay.

L'hôtel est un étonnant ancien bâtiment mais bien décoré, très moderne. Il dispose d'une micro-brasserie sur place. Le lit était confortable, la chambre était sans spot propre et avait tout ce que vous pouviez avoir besoin pendant votre séjour. Le personnel était ami et très utile. Vous êtes dans le centre de Chester, grand pour les achats, le repas et le verre.

Séjour très agréable à l'hôtel. Service très personnalisé. Ils ont gardé nos bagages pendant quelques jours. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. L'hôtel est un peu éloigné de la gare, mais cela nous a permis de découvrir la ville à pied. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

Personnel de réception sympathique. Excellent emplacement. Chambre spacieuse et salle de bain moderne, mais pas des plus propres : cheveux sur les coussins de la robe, cheveux dans le bac à douche, beaucoup de poussière dans la chambre. Je m'attendais à mieux.

Really clean and tidy room and we had the best night sleep on the comfiest bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location was at the Center of Chester which made everything easier to get too. It was right by the shops and loads of places to eat. Self service breakfast with plenty of choice enjoyed everything and hope to visit again.

Décevant petit déjeuner et très peu d'options pour dîner. Pas d'ascenseur pour accéder aux étages supérieurs où sont situées les chambres. Un séjour décevant. Spa et salles de sport étaient bons, mais les serviettes étaient trop petites.

Handy location for travel to North Wales and an easy drive to Chester. Hotel rooms are dated. We only had one bedside cabinet and lamp in a double room.The wardrobe door was in danger of falling off. Room looked out onto another part of the building. A storeroom or something. No window in en suite. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Breakfast was of limited choice but adequate. The public areas and pool facilities were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel, it is very old so there are bound to be some faults but really enjoyed my stay. The room was lovely and spacious with hospitality tray,hair dryer, iron, ironing board plus toiletries. Location was excellent right in the middle of the city, short walk to everything and bus station a 5min walk. Will definitely stay here again.
