Hôtels à Eastbourne avec petit déjeuner

« We stayed at the Majestic Hotel for one night and got a very good price, as we only needed somewhere to sleep and weren't planning to spend much time there. The location is excellent, right on the seafront, and the outside of the hotel looks fairly presentable with a few seats at the front to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, things were less impressive once inside. The bar was closed, with signs saying they wouldn't be serving alcohol, and one of the lifts was out of order. The hotel itself feels very dated and is in need of refurbishment. Our room was clean and fresh towels were provided, but it was quite tired. The carpet was heavily stained, one bedside cabinet had clearly fallen off the wall at some point and hadn't been replaced, and the ceiling light was hanging down with exposed wires, which was a safety concern. The curtains also looked like they hadn't been updated in decades. The room was very hot, with no air conditioning or fan. The bathroom was extremely small, the sink was cracked, and the shower had a significant build-up of limescale. There was no hairdryer, although basic tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The biggest positive was the staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming. Overall, if you're looking for the cheapest possible place to sleep in a good location, it does the job. However, I personally wouldn't stay again and would rather pay a little more for a hotel that is more comfortable and better maintained. »
