Hôtels à Glasgow avec petit déjeuner

Efficient and friendly check in. Suite was comfortable, clean and spacious: extras included with drinks at bar, coffee and access to exec lounge all good. Would definitely stay again. Would opt to go out for breakfast in future - the only downside to visit. A dirty oil taste to most cooked items of buffet, fried eggs were cold and required slightly more cooking with clear whites beside yolk. Tried the scrambled eggs instead and while light, and freshly prepared… a sever lack of flavour (suspect a pre-mixed product that was microwaved and not seasoned). Juices, yogurt/granola and coffee were good. Not worth the £15 each given what we could eat.

Cet hôtel est parfaitement situé dans le centre de Glasgow, à 3 minutes à pied de la gare routière et à 7 minutes de la gare de Queen Street. Le personnel était super sympa et a répondu à toutes les questions. Le seul inconvénient de la chambre était la climatisation/thermostat. Il avait cela en tête et s'éteignait tout seul, montait ou descendait tout seul, ce qui entraînait une chaleur ou un froid excessif. Sinon, cette chambre était spacieuse et propre et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin.

My stay with the ibis hotel was somewhat mixed with both positive and negative. On a positive, the accessible room that I had booked was of a good size and the main bedroom area was clean. The staff on arrival were helpful and provided me with all necessary information upon check in. Sadly, I was disappointed when ordering from the hotel resturant. My son wanted a pizza and the menu provided a list of three types. When ordering, I was told that there was only one type which wasn’t listed on the menu. I found the food to be of substandard which is disappointing given the price. Equally on check out, I advised that the bathroom had a build up of dirt and hair around the shower tray. I was told “apologises, this is a housekeeping issue”. I voiced my disappointment regarding the food to just be told “sorry”. Lastly I expressed my disappointment that I was charged £12.99 per person for a breakfast buffet. I felt this was a bit steep considering my under 5 ate half a croissant. The front desk only advised that usually they did not charge for under 5’s and would need to take this up with the app I booked to is stay through. No solution or refund were offered.

Friendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night. Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern. Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it. I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management. Won’t be returning or recommending.

L'Ibis Styles Glasgow Central est un bon endroit où séjourner si vous avez l'intention de faire escale à Glasgow. Il se trouve à environ 10 minutes à pied de la gare centrale de Glasgow et à 15 minutes des fast-foods et des magasins. Les chambres sont propres et les équipements de base sont fournis. Le petit-déjeuner est bon et comprend un mélange de cuisines internationales et anglaises. CEPENDANT, j'ai eu une mauvaise expérience concernant un certain paiement. J'ai réservé cet hôtel via Trip.com et j'ai prépayé mon séjour. Lorsque je suis arrivé le 17/7, la réceptionniste de ce jour-là m'a dit que les détails de ma carte étaient nécessaires. On m'a assuré qu'aucune déduction ne serait effectuée et que les détails n'étaient nécessaires qu'en cas de dommages dans ma chambre pendant le séjour. Pourtant, le soir même, j'ai reçu une notification indiquant que 143 livres avaient été déduites. J'ai interrogé la réceptionniste de ce jour-là et j'ai été rassuré, et je cite : ”Cette transaction a été effectuée pour confirmer que votre carte n'est pas une carte bancaire et qu'elle est payable”. Le lendemain, avant de partir, j'ai reconfirmé auprès de la réceptionniste de ce jour-là (18/7) si l'argent me serait remboursé. Après vérification de leur côté, ils m'ont dit que l'argent serait remboursé. Ce matin (19/7), je viens de recevoir une autre notification indiquant que le statut de la transaction de 143 livres est passé de « en attente » à « approuvée ». Je suis déçu et contrarié par cela, et je voudrais exhorter les futurs voyageurs à se méfier de cet incident.

Hampton by Hilton, Glasgow Central is located on West Campbell Street and this truly is right in the heart of the city centre! Located just around the corner from the bustling shopping street of Sauchiehall Street, you’ve got everything you need at your disposal within walking distance of this hotel! Even Glasgow’s Central station is just a short 10 minute walk away - ideal if you’re coming in from another such as Liverpool like I was! A double room in this hotel is a fair size. To maximise on the space, Hampton by Hilton have removed wardrobes and cupboards and have replaced them with walk-in spaces. It works - the L shaped room can feel a little cosy at first, but once you’ve passed through the corridor, the main area where the bed and TV is feels quite spacious. The breakfast provided - which is free for all guests - is to a great standard. Make sure you try out the fresh waffles which come as standard in Hampton by Hilton hotels. The breakfast area isn’t huge though, so if you come around 8.30/9am, space might be limited! There’s also a fitness suite in the hotel which has a good range of equipment available. No windows in there though! Some areas for improvement - the room could do with a bit of refurbishment as the furniture is looking quite tired in parts and there are a lot of scratches and dirty marks on the walls. The room is very functional rather than a luxurious stay. Having said that, Hampton by Hilton is not marketing itself as a luxury brand. It’s firmly in the budget hotel bracket, probably at a similar standard to Premier Inn - which certainly isn’t a bad thing! Another thing to note - if you stay here during the weekend, it could be noisy. There are three nightclubs right near the hotel and on a Saturday night, the noise didn’t stop until 2.30am and this meant we didn’t get much sleep one night. However, the staff were very helpful when we flagged it with them the next morning and gave a credit for a free night’s stay at any Hampton by Hilton! All in all, this hotel is a good base to stay whilst exploring Glasgow. It’s functional, it does the job and you’re going to be well fed during breakfast. True, there are areas for improvement, but this shouldn’t impact your overall experience too much!

The staff and the place was awesome. We had issues with the room and was resolved by Emily straight away by moving us to the business lounge room.

Nous avons réservé une nuit ici pour assister à un spectacle à l'Oran Mor, dans le West End de Glasgow. L'hôtel a l'air bien entretenu et aurait besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement. Le personnel était très agréable et serviable. Notre chambre était très petite mais propre. Le lit était très inconfortable. La serrure électronique de la porte ne fonctionnait pas correctement et il a fallu plusieurs tentatives pour l'ouvrir. Il faisait assez chaud dans la chambre, nous avons donc dormi fenêtre ouverte, jusqu'à ce que nous soyons réveillés par l'odeur nauséabonde de quelqu'un qui fumait de la cigarette, provenant d'une pièce adjacente ou de l'extérieur, et par les cris et hurlements des ivrognes jusqu'au petit matin. Un séjour très inconfortable, somme toute.

L'auberge est située au cœur de Glasgow, idéale pour explorer la ville à pied et à proximité de la station de métro. Personnel sympathique, superbe hall d'entrée pour se détendre.

Excellent hôtel et emplacement chaleureux, propre et accueillant. Près de la voiture, du train et du bus. Les gens qui travaillent ici sont exceptionnels. Merci. Je l'ai recommandé aux autres.
