« We had a pleasant stay at this beautiful hotel with a stunning surrounding and impressive historical architecture. The food was enjoyable, and the pool and outdoor areas were simply amazing.
However, the rooms require significant attention. Cleanliness was below expectations, and many facilities need repair, ACs were not functioning properly, beds were old, and the TV did not work. The bathroom setup caused water to spill into the room while bathing, and overall, the rooms could benefit from extensive renovation. Additionally, while the staff service was acceptable, more training would improve the guest experience.
Overall, the hotel has great potential due to its location, history, and structure, but the rooms need substantial maintenance to match the beauty of the surroundings. »

I stayed at Nyne Hotel recently and it truly felt like a five-star experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff impressed me with their professionalism and warmth. They were attentive, punctual and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, set in a peaceful garden close to the sea. It's very calm and relaxing, the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature.
The food was exceptional. Each dish was carefully prepared and presented, more like something you would expect from a Michelin-star restaurant than a typical hotel. It was both delicious and beautifully done.
l've stayed in many places around the world, but Nyne Hotel really stands out. The combination of the setting, the food and the genuinely professional staff makes it a special place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bentota.

Прекрасное место! Тихий, спокойный отдых с первоклассным обслуживанием. При заселении нам улучшили номер - просто кайф. Персонал чудесный - все на своих местах. Все пожелания исполняются моментально, но при этом ненавязчиво. Классный бассейн и сад. Очень красивый пляж 2 минуты ходьбы. Вкусный завтрак. Также мы 2 раза обедали в ресторане - вкусно! Это было лучшее наше размещение на Шри Ланке за 28 дней! Спасибо!
Через территорию отеля ходит поезд, но смотрится это очень круто и необычно! Лайфхак: рельсам дойти до города 15 минут. Основную часть пути можно будет пройти сбоку от рельс)

Вместо одной большой кровати были две сдвинутые маленькие кровати, цветник у выхода из номера на улицу был с мусором и без цветов, в отличие от соседных цветников.

Couldn't fault this hotel. My room was upgraded to a sea view de luxe room and it was fantastic. It was well cleaned every day by Jinendra who also left an amusing 'towel animal' for me daily! Breakfast in the Palms Restaurant was superb, plenty of choice and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Sam was exceptional and went out of his way to get everything I asked for. Madhuka and Dimli also deserve a special mention. The SHACK seafood restaurant was excellent and good value. We also had some evening meals in the Palms Restaurant. They offer a magnificent buffet but we ordered a la carte and were not disappointed. We ventured outside the hotel for an evening meal on a few occasions (across the railway line) but found the standard to be mediocre and not that cheap compared with what was available at the hotel.
The swimming pool was easily accessible (graduated steps) and the water wonderfully warm. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger after breakfast although many are obviously reserved early. The extensive beach is lovely for walks. There are sun loungers in the shaded area in the trees but these have to be paid for.
The hotel offers a number of daytime activities and there is evening entertainment.
A wonderful stay and I would highly recomment this hotel.

Stayed at Prince Beach Hotel Bentota with family. The biggest highlight of this property is definitely its excellent location, right by the beach, which made it very convenient and enjoyable for us. However, overall cleanliness, service, and amenities were average and could use some improvement. The staff was polite, but the experience did not fully match expectations. With better maintenance and upgraded facilities, this hotel has great potential because the location is truly fantastic.

The owner settled me in a one-room apartment instead of a two-room apartment with a terrace, balcony, kitchen, refrigerator without all these amenities. There was only one working socket for charging gadgets and a kettle.
But though the room was clean and there was an aircon inside. Bedsheets were clean as well. They also provide a towel for free.
As for bath and toilet it was also clean. There was hot water but no shampoo/shower gel in bath cabins. But there was a toilet paper.
There was a kettle in the room. As for cold drinking water they don't provide it. Internet connection wasn't working all the time.
There was a pretty good breakfast with fried 2 eggs, 4 tosts (but 2 of them were from old dried bread), butter and jam, fruits (3 pieces of watermelon and papaya, 2 bananas) and 2 drinks as tea/coffee and freshly made juice.
Located in 5 mins walking distance from beach.
The staff was accomodating and helpful.
