Unexpected First Experiences! We check in passed 130AM and Hotel receptionist cant find our booking. After handover the booking confirmation + payment receipt, the receptionist just ask us to wait without any explanation. We need to wait for more than 60mins for them to prepare our room and handover the key to us. More unexpectedly they assigned a PWD room to us, not the room type we book we have no choice to sleep over for a night as we only managed to get to our room after 3AM and so tired of long hour travel. We requested to change room next day and being told to wait for 1 hour and again, the receptionist did not arrange new room for us and just let us wait without updates. We again request to change room on the 3rd day and finally they change to a normal room for us. Hotel management need to put in more effort to monitor your services because no guest wish to experiences this kind of unpleasant experiences.

This hotel is a newly opened five-star Marriott hotel on the Colombo waterfront. Across the street is the Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, a five-star hotel with a striking exterior. After much deliberation, I chose this one on the beachfront. There's security at the porte-cochère, and a baggage check before entering the hotel. The ground floor is lined only with sofas, and the front lobby is above. The lobby lounge was very spacious and had a gorgeous atmosphere – truly impressive. I arrived early, so the front desk wasn't crowded, and they upgraded my room without any special comment. It was a room with round walls, which I love, and absolutely beautiful. The room's interior and furniture had a more classic feel than I expected, with a large column, a spacious bed, and a large television being particularly striking. The minibar was housed in a heavy, single-door cabinet, giving it a luxurious feel, and there were five bottles of mineral water. However, the minibar refrigerator is usually locked, so it was a shame that I couldn't chill the water. There was welcome fruit on the table in the foreground. Next to the entrance was a walk-in closet, and beyond that was a spacious bathroom. The bathtub was open, but I appreciated that the toilet and shower were properly separated. The beauty mirror was also unusually large. Best of all was the round terrace, which offered views overlooking the beach and the city. The hotel has two pools, both infinity pools overlooking the ocean. The gym was in a hard-to-find location, behind a spa-like reception area. The breakfast area was one of the largest I've seen in any hotel so far, with plenty of food, but it was crowded and difficult to find things, which was a bit tiring. Also, there was a long line at the live kitchen, and many people, including the staff taking orders, were cutting in line, which was disappointing. Le dernier jour de notre séjour à l'hôtel, nous n'avons pas pu bénéficier d'un départ tardif car l'établissement était complet. Cependant, très satisfaits du service, nous avons prolongé notre séjour jusqu'à 19h moyennant un petit supplément. Notre arrivée était un vendredi, et une fête avec de la bière se déroulait au bord de la piscine jusqu'à minuit. Nous l'entendions depuis la chambre ; c'était un peu bruyant. Les brioches à la cannelle du petit-déjeuner étaient délicieuses ! Je les recommande vivement !

Bel hôtel propre, service très efficace ! Le lit est très confortable et les draps de grande qualité. L'hôtel ressemble à un immense immeuble, la réception au 7ème étage et la piscine et le bar/snack-bar de la piscine au 26ème étage. J'ai pu payer la moitié du prix de ma chambre en plus pour pouvoir partir à 16 heures, ce qui était bien car mon vol était à 20 heures. Très bonne impression dans l'ensemble.

Mixed feelings We had quite a mixed impression of the hotel. There are definitely some very good things about it, but unfortunately, we experienced several issues that we did not expect from a hotel of this level. Strong points: 🌊 Relaxing ocean view. If you stay here, I would definitely recommend booking a room with a sea view - it is one of the best features of the hotel. 🛏 Extremely comfortable bed. After five months of travelling around Asia, this was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The mattress and pillows were excellent. 👧 Very attentive reception service. Even though we arrived late at night, the reception team quickly arranged an extra bed for our daughter. We really appreciated how quickly and thoughtfully they handled this after our late arrival. 😊 Friendly and caring staff. I especially want to mention the lovely lady who asked for our feedback at checkout. She was very attentive, kind, and genuinely apologetic about the issues we experienced. Because of her attitude and the way she handled our feedback, I’m adding one extra star to my rating. Weak points: We checked in late at night after an 8-hour flight and found a small insect in the bed. It was particularly unpleasant after such a long journey, we had to change rooms. Our main concerns were related to the housekeeping service on the 11th floor. We stayed in room 1107, and unfortunately, there were several things that could have been handled better. Unfortunately, around midnight, we were woken up by loud conversations outside our door, apparently by members of the staff. Shortly afterwards, the housekeeping staff started vacuuming the room next door and moving furniture around - at night. After a long flight, we simply wanted to sleep peacefully, especially as we were only staying for two nights. This was quite unpleasant and, in our opinion, could easily have been avoided. There were no slippers in our room, which was surprising. We did notice slippers in the housekeeping area, so perhaps they were simply forgotten. There were no hand or face towels in the bathroom - only large bath towels. This seemed quite unusual for a hotel of this standard, and it is not particularly comfortable to use the same towel for your face and feet. The bathroom lighting was also very dim, making it difficult to get ready properly and do my makeup.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur de Colombo, au Sri Lanka. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la vue sur le jardin. La cuisine est excellente et variée. Le personnel est courtois, organisé et présentable. Tous sont toujours prêts à rendre service. Un grand merci au personnel du restaurant : Kamani, Randil et Imesh. Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cet hôtel lors de mon prochain séjour. Merci à tout le personnel pour cet excellent séjour.

Clock colombo is cheap. The room was so clean cool. The breakfast is included. Breakfast is also good. Location is also good. 3km from galle face beach. But the washrooms. Omg. The hotel service do their job every day for cleaning. But the people of the hotel who are staying like the customer they were not clean. Every time i went to washroom the toilet seats were so dirty, they don’t flush son the 💩 always there. All over ill give 08/10.

L'hôtel Nippon Colombo offre un séjour correct, malgré quelques points forts et points faibles. Les chambres étaient convenables : plutôt propres, mais mériteraient d'être modernisées au niveau de la décoration et de l'entretien. Le service était poli, mais parfois un peu lent, et certains équipements semblaient un peu vieillots. Cela dit, la cuisine était absolument fantastique. Le restaurant nous a vraiment impressionnés par ses savoureux plats sri-lankais et la variété des options, tous authentiques et bien préparés. Que ce soit pour le petit-déjeuner ou le dîner, les repas étaient toujours excellents et ont été le point fort de notre séjour.

L'hôtel de Mont Lavinia est un hôtel de qualité, où vous avez été très agréablement accueilli. L'hôtel était très confortable et confortable. Même la salle de bains était bien entretenue et offrait une vue magnifique, ce qui a fait le séjour se sentir encore plus spécial. La visite de l'hôtel est très importante pour les visiteurs de l'hôtel. Dans l'ensemble, je voudrais apprécier ma expérience 10/10. Tout du lieu et des installations au service et à l'atmosphère était tout simplement parfait. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à quiconque cherche un séjour relaxant et mémorable au Sri Lanka.
