An excellent stay that truly reflects the warmth and professionalism of true Sri Lankan hospitality. The hotel was comfortable, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and professional throughout my stay, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic stay with outstanding service. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

J'ai récemment séjourné à l'hôtel Colombo Court et, bien qu'il offre de bonnes valeurs et excellentes chambres, l'hospitalité a été un peu rigide pour un touriste. La chambre était très belle, très propre et de qualité, avec beaucoup de pièges et de bonnes toilettes. Depuis que je suis arrivé à la guerre froide, la grande sélection de café et de thés dans la chambre a été un sauvetage absolu. Le service clientèle a été très bien demandé. Je suis arrivé le soir après un vol de toute la nuit. Même si la saison est basse et l'hôtel se sentait complètement vide, le bureau frontal a strictement forcé le temps de check-in à 2:00 PM. Ils n'ont même pas offert un check-in précoce pour une commission. Au lieu de cela, on m'a dit que je pouvais attendre dans la chaleur de la piscine pendant deux heures. Il y avait aussi une question de facturation étrange à l'arrivée. J'ai dû leur montrer fermement mon travail de papier qui montre le paiement de cartes de crédit virtuelles de la plate-forme de réservation avant qu'ils ne l'aient pas fait. Ils ne l'ont pas répété, mais il se sentait un peu comme une tentative de tremblement. Enfin, ma confirmation de réservation a expliqué explicitement que le checkout était entre 11h00 et 12:00 p.m. Cependant, à 11h30, le personnel a frappé à ma porte et m'a dit que le checkout était en fait à 11h00. Même après avoir montré mon confirmation sur le bureau frontal, ils ont insisté sur la règle de 11h00. Le personnel était toujours amical et poli, mais il semblait qu'ils seraient à la place de leurs clients, mais ils seraient très propres, mais ils ont beaucoup plus d'une vivace vivace de voyageurs d'affaires que d'une destination touristique bienvenue. J'ai une autre réservation pour mon retour, mais je vais l'annuler pour rester ailleurs.

This stay was special to me because I had the opportunity to contribute to this beautiful project as part of the interior design team. Seeing the space come to life and experiencing it as a guest was truly rewarding. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff provided excellent service. Grateful to have played a small part in creating such a wonderful experience.

Famille : 3 adultes et 2 enfants Appartement 801 : + L'appartement est grand et spacieux ; + Les chambres et le linge de lit sont propres ; + La salle de bain est propre ; + La chambre était bien nettoyée, les serviettes étaient changées tous les jours (j'ai laissé un pourboire) ; + Le sèche-cheveux, la climatisation et le fer à repasser fonctionnent bien ; + La cuisine est équipée de vaisselle, d'appareils électroménagers et d'un lave-linge ; - Il n'y a ni poêle ni casseroles. Il est impossible de cuisiner sur les plaques de cuisson, il n'y a pas de micro-ondes. - Les meubles du salon dégagent une odeur désagréable et sont sales ; - La table à repasser est sale ; - Les rideaux sont à changer ; Réception : + Personnel poli ; + Enregistrement rapide ; Restaurant (petit-déjeuner et dîner) : + Excellente qualité des produits ; + Plats variés ; + Excellents chefs ; - En raison des jours fériés, l'hôtel est très fréquenté le samedi et le dimanche, et la priorité accordée aux clients de l'hôtel diminue. Gardiens et majordomes : + Ils m'ont paru compétents et aimables. + Le reste du personnel est aimable et poli. Piscine : + Belle vue. + Les enfants ont beaucoup aimé.

L'emplacement est bon. Le personnel est sympathique. La chambre est simple mais correcte. Le petit-déjeuner était simple : toasts, omelette, nouilles, mais suffisant. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent si vous recherchez un hébergement pratique !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a great, affordable room! It was immaculately cleaned, and everything I needed felt easy and well cared for. I also loved how affordable the laundry was, and the bar/food options were a nice bonus. But honestly, the standout was the service. The moment I walked in, I felt like I had my own personal entourage of Sri Lankan gentlemen. 😊 The doormen were always there to help—with my navigation questions, and with getting a metered tuk-tuk. They did it with the friendliest smiles and such gentleness, it reminded me of my beloved uncles back in Canada. Plus, the rooftop pool is fantastic—such a great place to relax and unwind. And a big shout-out to the gym: it’s immaculate and very female friendly, with 5 lb weights and three different cardio machines—exactly what I look for. The gym/pool staff were first class too, especially the lovely pool staff member in the picture. It was so awesome to see a “sister” know her way around a gym 💪✊🌹 Highly recommend—great value, great people, and a welcoming stay from start to finish!

L'hôtel Nippon Colombo offre un séjour correct, malgré quelques points forts et points faibles. Les chambres étaient convenables : plutôt propres, mais mériteraient d'être modernisées au niveau de la décoration et de l'entretien. Le service était poli, mais parfois un peu lent, et certains équipements semblaient un peu vieillots. Cela dit, la cuisine était absolument fantastique. Le restaurant nous a vraiment impressionnés par ses savoureux plats sri-lankais et la variété des options, tous authentiques et bien préparés. Que ce soit pour le petit-déjeuner ou le dîner, les repas étaient toujours excellents et ont été le point fort de notre séjour.

Berjaya Hotel is a grand entrance. Feels like premium hotel and is best for the people who want to explore the beach. The view from the hotel was very serene, waking up to the sight of beach is amazing. The train passes by every few minutes which might be a nuance if you like absolute quiet environments. There are restraunts and bars nearby on the beach which is a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It was strange to find a lack of amenities in the room like toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. I had a walk a couple of kilometres to find a shop to buy slippers before I could take a shower and relax after a long flight. The staff was very helpful during the checkin and checkout process helping me carry my luggage even at 4am in the morning. The complimentary breakfast was also delightfully diverse with a mix of Desi, Continental and Srilankan dishes. Overall I enjoyed my stay. I hope the hotel management can add to the amenities so the international travellers can have a more comfortable stay.

I booked this hotel on August 8 and received a confirmation. However, when I arrived at around 9 PM on August 15, the hotel had no record of my booking under my name. It was a really frustrating experience – especially after a long day of travel. I contacted Trip.com customer service immediately, and they worked on it, but unfortunately they couldn't secure a room for me at this property. I had to find another hotel last minute that night. The good news: Trip.com has already reached out to me and confirmed they'll reimburse all my costs. That's a huge relief, and I really appreciate their responsiveness. Despite this one-off glitch, I still trust Trip.com for future travels – these things happen, and they handled it professionally. Since I never actually stayed here, I can't comment on the rooms, cleanliness, or service – so I'm keeping my ratings neutral across all categories. A quick tip for fellow travelers: Always double-check your booking by calling the hotel directly a day before arrival, especially if you're arriving late. Even with confirmation, errors can slip through. That way, you avoid the stress I went through. Overall, I can't recommend or criticize this hotel – I just didn't get to stay. But full credit to Trip.com for stepping up and making things right. Will definitely book with them again.

A few if us wanted to get along with friends and have a good time and we choose this location and it did not disappoint us.
