I've worked and stayed in luxury hotels around the world, and if you're looking for a stunning hotel, with pleasant service this would be a top choice. However overall we were looking for more of an intimate experience. Staff were very nice; they were young, friendly, kind and caring. Travelling with my mother however, it felt very uncomfortable when I was asked 'how my wife was doing?!', this summed up the disconnection between the hotel and the experience. A beautiful hotel but short of a 4/5 star experience. It is one of the most stunning Riads you will stay at. The restaurant serves great food, and the views are amazing - if you can handle the three floors of steep steps. Overall, you won't be disappointed but it felt like when we stayed there was no manager for those extra touches you expect when paying this much.

Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay.
Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

TTRIPPERS.IO founderNous n'avons pas été très agréables de vivre dans cet hôtel, nous ne sommes pas la première fois à Fes et cet hôtel ne coûte pas son argent.
L'hôtel est incroyablement beau à l'intérieur, mais les chambres sont petites, les fenêtres sortent non pas à la rue, mais à la salle générale, où les hôtes et les hôtes sont constamment situés (de la matinée au petit déjeuner de la salle et aux plaques de ring, Le restaurant est un hôtel très bon, et le restaurant est très bon, et le restaurant est très bon. Au milieu de notre vacances, nous avons été poisonnés et nous avons arrêté de manger le petit déjeuner (ce fut la seule fois en 3 mois au Maroc)
Il est aussi regrettable qu'il n'y ait pas de pots de thé et de réfrigérateurs dans les chambres.

IInvitéMy stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager.
We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay.
Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day.
At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay.
The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring.
What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the host, who truly deserves 100 out of 100. He was extremely patient, gentle, and professional, and always willing to help. He gave us many useful and practical recommendations about the city, restaurants, and things to do, which made our trip much easier and more enjoyable.
The accommodation itself was also very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would happily stay here again.

Before arriving the riad, they sent me an email asking my WhatsApp so they can send me the exact location and so video clips for me to know how to get there since Google map doesn’t work when getting inside the Medina . They said if I really couldn’t find the way, they could pick me up in one of the entrances to the riad. I thought I could find it but I failed so I called them. One of the staff came out immediately and helped me my luggage. The two young staff there are very helpful and friendly. Since I was so late to arrive , so one staff (should be called Abdullah) brought me out again so I can Rmb how to get out and in again next time. The other young staff also brought me where I can find friendly convenient store nearby to get essentials. Love them and so helpful. The breakfast was nice too. The AC inside the Room is good and the water pressure and the heat were good too ! Highly recommend this Riad when u travel to fez next time. Rmb to bring ur amenities since they do not provide any bathing items or toothbrush. Recommend the riad to have a rubbish bin in the room instead of just inside the toilet.

Le personnel de service est très enthousiaste et vous dira bonjour lors de votre rencontre. Le jardin à l'arrière est magnifique. Belle promenade. Vous devez vous rendre à Lanmen en voiture. Il y a un parking à Lanmen, ce qui est pratique.

L'emplacement est génial, à quelques pas des labyrinthes de la médina. Séjour génial et j'ai beaucoup apprécié Fès.

YYongyuandeninghaiLa couverture WiFi de l'hôtel est particulièrement complète, que ce soit dans la chambre, dans le hall, dans le restaurant ou dans le coin du corridor, les signaux WiFi sont forts et il n'y a pas de cas de défaut. J'ai testé dans tous les endroits de l'hôtel, la vitesse de l'internet est très stable, les vidéos sont très stables, les jeux sont très bons, les fichiers sont très téléchargés. Pour les personnes qui ont besoin d'accéder à l'internet à tout moment, un WiFi stable complet est vraiment important.

IInvitéA very beautiful riad in the middle of medina, we are so happy to have stayed here. Mesmerising inner court, authentic-looking room, and a wonderful host Youssef, who is very welcoming and always ready to help.
We stayed in the end of December, so it wasn’t exactly warm in the room, and if there was a heater of some sort, that would be just perfect. But then again, it was the 4th riad in a row we stayed at, and it was the warmest of them all even without aircon or heater. With that being said, I’m sure the temperature would feel just perfect during spring, summer or autumn.
