Nestled in a quiet embassy district, the restored teak mansion, once the home of a British colonial governor, immediately impresses with its graceful architecture and tranquil gardens. Approaching through leafy pathways and lotus ponds, guests are welcomed into an oasis that feels far removed from the bustle of downtown Yangon.
Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, featuring polished teak floors, four-poster beds, and traditional Burmese textiles that reflect the building’s heritage. Balconies overlook either the lush gardens or the inviting fan-shaped swimming pool, creating a sense of calm retreat. The service is consistently warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive, with staff eager to share local knowledge and assist with arrangements.
Dining is a highlight. The open-air restaurant offers refined Burmese and international dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and presented with flair. Breakfast under the wide verandas, with tropical birdsong in the background, is especially memorable. __WeChat276452****L'hôtel le plus agréable de ce voyage était la chambre exécutive, très spacieuse, comparable à un appartement d'une chambre dans un immeuble de luxe, avec suffisamment de place pour les bagages (même si j'en avais très peu). Faute de temps, je n'ai pas dîné à l'hôtel. Cependant, les espaces communs étaient magnifiques et le personnel très aimable, portant spontanément mes bagages jusqu'à ma chambre et m'expliquant le fonctionnement de certains appareils. La piscine à débordement sur le toit était splendide ; presque déserte, elle m'a permis de prendre de nombreuses photos et d'admirer la vue sur la rivière. Le mobilier de la chambre était également raffiné. Des sels de bain étaient fournis dans la baignoire, accompagnés d'un petit sac en tissu : une délicate attention. Le café et le thé étaient également produits localement. Le quartier chinois est accessible à pied. J'ai beaucoup aimé la palette de couleurs et la décoration de l'hôtel. Le niveau d'anglais et le professionnalisme du personnel pourraient être améliorés.

IInvitéJ'ai séjourné à Melia avec ma famille et depuis l'entrée pour l'entrée pour l'entrée, nous avons eu un séjour fantastique. La plupart des personnes étaient vraiment obligées et utiles avec une note spéciale à Coe et à son équipe au Restaurant Market qui assuraient que nos petits-déjeuners étaient toujours confortables et que nos besoins étaient réunis. L'hôtel est situé près du pittoresque lac Inya et nous avons une salle de vue sur le lac qui a fait le matin réveiller extra spécial. Melia est également à côté du centre de Plaza Myanmar où il y a beaucoup de magasins, y compris un supermarché et le haut de la planche dispose d'une vaste cour alimentaire. Si vous voulez rester et manger à l'hôtel, il y a un certain nombre de restaurants à l'hôtel servant des plats exquis. Les chambres sont équipées de bars et de salons sur le dessus du sol, mais elles ne sont disponibles que pour ceux qui ont une chambre spécifique. Tant très propre que bien entretenu avec l'équipe de sport avec une grande variété d'équipements et de serviettes et d'eau fraîche à la main. En général, il était un séjour très agréable et agréable et si nous rentrions à Yangon, Melia est un endroit que nous envisagerions certainement de rester à nouveau.

IIsfp-Solo TravelerEverything was good👌👌👌😍💙…The only downside was that you might feel too lazy to go out or sightsee because the hotel room was very comfortable, and it was extremely hot outside😅 —- You could just stay in your room, enjoy the view, go for a swim, or have a spa day….
The breakfast buffet had a lot of options, and they even changed some of the dishes the next day. My favorite was the sauna—it was really good. I also loved the hot shower, as it didn’t turn cold even after being on for a long time😍
The massages were great, and the prices were reasonable…. The staff were very helpful and kind…. There were occasional power interruptions, but they only lasted a few seconds since the hotel’s backup power kicked in immediately…
+ Although it’s a bit far from the tourist spots, you can take a Grab—it’s affordable and the best option since it gets really hot during the day….

BBruce MWould stay again. Great location, close to area famous landmark by walking distance. Room need sound proof due to noise from street and near by park especially on morning. Also room key needed to be updated. Like old style bulk key chain back in the 80's . Great breakfast buffet and enjoy it. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Overall, very pleased with stay.

Le personnel de ménage ajoutait des produits selon son humeur, heureusement que j'avais apporté les miens. Le restaurant et le bar sur le toit étaient plutôt petits, mais la vue nocturne était magnifique. Le spa au deuxième étage laissait à désirer, et les massages étaient également peu professionnels.

I stayed here for only one day as I extended my trip by a day. Don’t expect too much from the amenities, as the hotel is half the price of others with similar facilities—which is why it’s a good option😊
The breakfast buffet had limited options but was still decent —- They have a section where you can ask a staff member to cook an egg/omelet for you, but I didn’t explore the other options (breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which is great if you have early morning plans, as it gets really hot once the sun rises during this month)….
The hotel has a gym, sauna, and pool. The room includes a TV, kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, and complimentary water and coffee…..
The only downside was that hot water is not available 24 hours during my stay…. According to the receptionist, hot water is available only during specific hours to adhere to electricity conservation, if I’m not mistaken.. (if I’m not mistaken, starting from 9 AM, but I’m not sure until when) as they have I only realized this when I was about to shower around 8:30 PM and found that only cold water was available. I called the receptionist, and they sent housekeeping to assist…. I’m not sure if it’s a temporary thing only so if you’re concern with this, you can message them first…
It’s still a good place to stay, even if it’s a bit far from the tourist spots, as Grab is available at a very reasonable price for getting to the places you want to visit.
