Burleigh Esplanade Apartments

Was travelling with a young person in a wheelchair and to ensure that the bathroom was able to accommodate his needs, the receptionist was amazing in assisting, going so far as taking a photo of the room and forwarding to me prior to their arrival. All the staff went above and beyond to assist this young person. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and well-kept with all the facilities required. Would certainly recommend these apartments for any guests travelling to the Gold Coast, convenient location with great views over the coast.

We booked the two penthouses for my daughters wedding (in the Burleigh hinterland) with family and bridesmaids staying .and were very impressed with both rooms. Views are incredible, location perfect and we all raved about the comfort of the beds. We used penthouse 51 for pre-wedding photos as it was bright and light and beautiful. Surprisingly vey little wait for lifts to arrive. Kitchens were well equipped. We didn't have time to use the pool as too busy or swimming across the road in the ocean. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Great apartment and facilities, well appointed rooms and great hosts. would go back in a heartbeat. Pool is lovely, nice pool room, and sauna and spas. Its about a 10 min walk to main shops and across the road from the beach. Great views

Our apartment was neglected, shabby and poorly maintained and certainly not of a first-class standard as advertised. It would barely make three stars. Door handle hanging from door, tiles in the laundry not adhered, lying loose, tile missing in the kitchen, bathroom soap holder not fitted correctly, bathroom soap holder rusty screws, curtain track rusty screws. Main bedroom ceiling not painted to match, paint chipped from door entrances, rusting, carpet has many stains and looks tatty, towels so thin you could see through them. Light switch not securely attached, leaving a gap of 1-2 centimetres off the wall. This breaches at least two or three AS3000 electricity standard regulations and is therefore illegal. Worse, the switch itself is situated approximately one metre from the floor, and is thus easily accessible to a young child. The apartment should be closed off as uninhabitable. (Photos attached) While we were offered another apartment the following day, clearly a better apartment on the 13th floor, it doesn’t address the question of a sub-standard unit being offered for hundreds of dollars a day, over a $1000 a week. I cannot recommend these apartments, there are much, much better available close by and I would definitely not stay there again.

Perfect, One of the best apartments we have stayed in, perfect views and close to great beaches and restaurants. Great walking to the national park and surfing. Would be perfect for families too. We will definitely be back.

Having stayed at the Burleigh Esplanade apartments previously we were excited to return. This stay was for 7 nights and after the hopeful request (on booking) of being placed in the same apartment, it was great to have this arranged when we arrived. As each floor has only two apartments we were again able to access floor 17, room 34. The moment you open the door the location immediately reminds you why a Burleigh break helps recharge the batteries. The apartment had been freshly cleaned and has absolutely everything you need. This includes a washer and dryer, all the crockery and cutlery you will ever need, two spacious bedrooms (a king and 2 singles) which are located at the rear of the apartment and the kitchen, dining and living areas face the ocean and maximise the fantastic view. The bonus of a large flat screen TV that is smart and wifi connected (Foxtel, Netflix and Disney) adds another positive to the apartment. The building is located approx half way between the two Burleigh surf clubs, so walking to everything is simple and well patronised. This meant the car stayed in the secured underground carpark while we walked to fantastic dinner options every night. We continue to love this establishment and thank you for putting on an amazing full moon. Spectacular stay and we will be back.

What a wonderful three night stay at Burleigh Esplanade Apartments. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded for free to a penthouse apartment. Sensational view, beautifully appointed and so spacious. The media area upstairs was amazing. Even saw whales breaching from our balcony.

For a penthouse this is shocking. Dirty and old. Spas not working, internet is shared with neighbours in the loft and slow to intermittent. Had to get the cleaning staff (managers wife) back to clean the cutlery, oven and collect dirty tissues from behind the bed (and it was still filthy). Pretty much everything from plates to placemats was dirty or stained. Light fittings hanging out, lamps shorting. Apartment 50 - don’t stay here. At $935 AUD a night it’s nowhere near worth the money. Just feels cheap and unloved. Management staff couldn’t give a toss. Although Ashley is nice to deal with.

We had stayed at the Esplanade before and our request for our preferred apartment was arranged without any problems. The apartment was clean and very large, had a great ocean views and all the amenities you need to have a great holiday = large fridge, washer, dryer, great view from all rooms. The building is located between the two Burleigh surf clubs and 2 shopping centres, so walking to everything is very easy. I like it that Dan’s is so close. There are also some restaurants directly behind the building on the other side of the highway. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets and great walks in any direction. We needed to extend our stay and were accommodated in a lower floor room which was no problem, however, the owner of this apartment needs to undertake some serious renovation and infrastructure fixes to justify the cost of accommodation.
