It was very cold during our stay, but there were plenty of warm blankets, and the well-seasoned, dry firewood made it easy to get a fire going — everything was prepped and ready to light with just a match. The fireplace created a lovely atmosphere, though it was slightly too small to properly heat the room. The hot tub was cold on arrival and took several hours to warm up, so it was only ready to use late on the first night. The décor is dated but adds to the character of the place. A peaceful and relaxing stay overall.

Seamless booking in, very well equipped and clean accommodation, hot-tub well used, walked through the fruit fields, scenery from the accommodation stunning.

It's an absolutely beautiful and relaxing place. They have everything you can think of that you might need for a weekend away. Highlight was seeing a little 'bokkie' coming past our stoep. Definitely recommended.

One of the best weekend getaways we have ever had. Outpost cottages are lovely with everthing one need and more. Exceptional attention to detail in the cottages. The views of the mountains and valley are great and one immediately feels relaxed. Superb.

Absolutely loved our stay at this stunning working farm ! The holiday cottage was perfectly equipped and offered everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The farm itself is picturesque and Marileze, our hostess was lovely. Highly recommend for a peaceful and rejuvenating break 😊

Me and my partner enjoy a lovely getaway for a few nights. We were very amazed by the way we were treated and how much effort was involved to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend the accommodation to family and friends. This was definitely a trip to remember.

We enjoyed a tranquil stay in the most majestic surroundings and to top it off - we had the freshest eggs and roosterkoek for breakfast. We will definitely be back! Ps - those who love bird watching, we had a few species on the deck.

We stayed over at their Lady Red cottage for a romantic couples weekend away. The cottage had everything we needed. The woodfired hot tub is a favorite!! The cottage was neat and clean and smelled amazing. I was lucky enough to spot a small gazelle between the orchards while enjoying a morning coffee.

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at this amazing place. Check-in was easy, and everything was ready for us to relax and unwind. The cottage was cozy and everything you need was provided, with really the nicest crockery and utensils. The hot tub, which takes around 2 hours to warm up, was amazing. Best views from this cottage, it was quiet and serene, definitely the best place if you want to get out of the busy Cape Town. Tulbagh was beautiful with some cool wine and olive tasting, which was fun.

Exactly as advertised! Cottage was beautifully decorated, neat & tidy, all amenities we needed for our stay were available to us. It was so peaceful and the views were amazing. We enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely be back.

Perfect gem , my partner and I enjoyed the experience. Excellent service ,requested help once and within 3 minutes we had someone on our porch to help with hot tub, very efficient and effective. Tanya visited for a massage service in cottage she is so talented will definitely be back . The mature and rustic look of cabin was perfect , clean and tidy. Nature and it's surroundings perfect . Will be back indeed
