MainStay Suites Extended Stay Hotel Casa Grande

If I could give our room a -100 I would. We travel a lot and stay in hotels quite frequently. This is by far the most disgusting room we have ever had. We would have stayed elsewhere, however; there were no other hotels available for our large family. Upon entering the hotel, we were told there is not an elevator only stairs, so we take the stairs, and the carpets on the stairs are completely threaded bare and filthy. Entering our room took our breath away by the sheer amount of filth. The floors are tile and laminate and appear they have not been cleaned in ages considering the dirt and debris still on the floor. There were dirty handprints on the white walls and door. The window has a large unsafe crack running through it. There was old food left in the cabinets. When our daughter went to shower she had to wipe off the area to set the soap on since it had not been cleaned and left a very clear brown spot on the wash rag. The white towels were either dirty or stained. When we asked for a different room we were told there were not any available. And then when we complained about the cleanliness we were told we could find elsewhere to stay if we liked but we would not receive a refund. The only “good” thing I can report is the sheets smelled of bleach, so we presume they were clean.

It’s not fancy, but it is safe, clean, and the beds are comfortable. They don’t have breakfast in the mornings anymore but the coffee is 24 hours and great!! They have nice liquid creamers too. The staff were very nice and friendly. I would stay here again

The worst place we have ever stayed in. It was an older place and very dirty. We wore our flip flops inside, tub/shower old and like mold around shower and water spout where they are attached to wall. We tried finding other hotels to stay at for rest of our visit but none available. Didn’t even want to give one star!! We had to suck it up

We stayed in Mainstay suites for 3 nights. Hotel was well maintained and staffs were helpful. It is a interior corridor hotel and we felt very safe there . All others guests were friendly and I have seen family and kids staying in that hotel in a friendly manner. Overall experience very good . Will go back again.

Customer service was excellent. Hotels has been renovated. Heated pool and spa was a great addition. Mattress was very comfortable. All restaurants are near by. We will recommend this hotel for our friends if they ever visit Casa Grande.

We arrived after booking 11 rooms for two traveling youth sports teams to find a drug use policy prominently posted on the front desk counter. Clearly this is an issue with the customers that frequent this hotel. I will say though that Angel was very pleasant and kind. She deserves accolades. A customer who was staying at the hotel followed some of our young teenage girls into their room and was cussing and yelling at them. The girls felt extremely unsafe as did the chaperones. The girls were also subjected to a domestic/sexual dispute which led to us leaving the property. Given that we left the night we arrived and did not stay our two days, we were nonetheless charged for two nights without staying even a half hour. And, to top it off, we had to provide our credit card information, expiration date, CVV, all of it, and wouldn't you know it, we have had erroneous charges to local eateries. We have been scammed, robbed and exposed to dangerous a dangerous situation all due to this hotel.

While checking in the front desk clerk falls asleep standing up. I had to wake her up to finish checking me in. During the night (2am) the room across the way had a dog that would not stop loudly whining and scratching at the door. No answer on the phone when I called the room or the front desk. Every couple of hours there would be a couple of people standing in the hallway having a conversation. Avoid this place at all cost
