Have been dining here for some 10 yrs when we visit Badminton Horse Trials. The food has been wholesome and the service friendly and efficient, despite being so busy because of the Trials. How presently surprised we were today to discover the food has become excellent . Apparently the OHH has been sold out of a group and is now individually owned. A new head chef has joined bringing top quality, creativity and a wonderful menu. Staff still friendly and obliging. Wished we didn’t live 100mls away, but would be well worth the journey.

Connor and his team are delivering a superb menu in a wonderful setting. This pub cleverly manages to be a welcoming venue with atmosphere and serve simply fabulous food. Cannot recommend enough! The service is good too! Well worth a visit, evening or lunchtime.

My wife had bought a lunch deal voucher for the OHH. It’s been a couple of years since we ate there and we were both looking forward to it. My wife had the warm goats cheese on crostini with salsa verde to start, which she said was delicious. I had the crab and mozzarella balls, which unfortunately were both stodgy and tasteless. For mains we had the duck breast (which was a little over cooked) and I had the steak, which was lovely and pink but charred on the outside. The char made it taste a little bitter. The service was slow but to be fair there was only one barman/waiter on duty. Overall, it was disappointing but we will give them another go in the future

This place is a hidden jewel amazing everything food accommodation spotless Staff fabulous The breakfast was delicious My room was like a self contained flat had everything I thought I was getting one of the chalets and they are fabulous as well If I’m working this was again I’ll definitely return 5 stars

Just returned from an excellent weekend stay. My husband had stayed here a few years ago for work and was keen to return. We thought the standard of the rooms was very high: well-furnished, lovely walk-in shower, impeccably clean and plenty of tea and coffee options. Good breakfasts and we also booked for an evening meal. The warm welcome and friendliness of all the staff made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable.

I was here on business but it’s really close to Bath so a great base for exploring the city. Beautiful and comfortable room in a lovely quiet location. Fabulous country pub restaurant with superb food and great waiting staff.Thanks Kelly, you’re a star ⭐️

This is second time I've been for a meal here in the ladt couple of months. This us a lovely cosy village pub, the staff are attentive and the food is amazing. Great choice on the menu. Food is well presented, tasty and the perfect amount. We'll be back again very soon.

Just stayed one night. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Had an excellent meal in the pub which was served by friendly knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was well cooked and substantial. Just what you need to start the day. Overall great value for money.

We had a lovely stay at the Old House at Home for a weekend exploring Wiltshire. We were moved into the Signature Apartment which was a lovely surprise, the apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It's directly above the pub so you can hear some noise from below, but this didn't really bother us. The breakfast was lovely both mornings, and we ate in the pub one evening. The food was great and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
