This is a value for money B&B located in a quiet neighborhood in walkable distance from Piazza Duomo, Belini Park and most other sights in oldtown Catania. It is a self-serve check-in but the owner is very helpful via phone and Whatsup. The lobby and rooms are originally decorated with motives from each continent by a talented local artist. The rooms have high ceilings, are clean and functional and must have been recently redecorated with attention to detail. We noted that neither the announced wifi nor the Electric kettle and coffee/tea was available. Simple breakfast offered from a local café just round the corner.

Remote check in allowed me into an attic, so called room 'Igloo' that resembled more like an oven. No ventilation at all except for a small hand sized window in the Liliputian sized toilet. No other room was available and owner showed up , only to charge for 60€ cash canceling policy, as 'cards dind't work'. No receipt was ever produced and the guy denied *********** he ever received the money. A total crook. I'd rather sleep on the streets in one of the beautiful Piazzas.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und hatte ein eigenes Bad, Klimaanlage und einen Kühlschrank. In dem Gebäude erstreckt sich der Hotelbereich zu einem Teil im Erdgeschoss und ein weiterer Teil im 2. Stock. Die Dame von der Rezeption ist sehr Herzlich und Hilfsbereit. Sie unterstützt einen bei der Planung von Aktivitäten. Auf Wunsch bestellt se einen ein Taxi via Flughafen vor. Das B&B hat kein eigenes Restaurant, so das man bei einem Cafe um die Ecke zum Frühstück geht. Gegenvorlage einer Karte erhält man dort ein kleines Frühstück. Es ist kein Frühstück, was man normalerweise von Hotels kennt, da schon ab dem 2. Kaffee der Kaffee selbst bezahl werden muss. Das Angebot an Brötchen ist zum größten Teil eher sehr süß

Sono stata con mio marito e mio figlio per 3 notti in questo b&b e posso dire che siamo stati BENISSIMO.... camere belle, particolari, noi avevamo " Bedda Matri " e soprattutto pulitissima, la signora che ci ha accolto super disponibile e gentile.... Posizione perfetta per raggiungere a piedi in 10/15 minuti il centro di Catania. Torneremo sicuramente !!!

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il b&b Per. Alcune notti. Camere abbastanza sistemate, con qualche problema. Posizione centrale vicino a. Via Etnea. Biancheria da bagno parziale, doccia rotta prima di usarla. Abbiamo dovuto comprare la carta igienica. L'abbiamo detto a chi si é occupato dellaccoglienza nessuno si é preoccupato di risolvere le mancanze. Non ci tornerei assolutmente

Wir hatten keinen schönen Sizilien-Urlaub im B&B Giro Nel Mondo und können uns absolut nicht an eine erholsame Zeit zurückerinnern. Wir haben für 3 Personen mit Frühstück gebucht, der Reiseveranstalter hat uns aber nur für 2 Personen ohne Frühstück dort eingebucht. Das Zimmer im B&B Giro Nel Mondo war mit einem Gefängnis zu vergleichen. Kein Tageslicht, Deckenhöhe 1,80m, Türbreite 50cm, kein Zimmerservice, kein Frühstück, keine richtige Rezeption. Es gab keine frischen Handtücher und der Müll wurde nicht geleert, 5 Tage lang! Mit Platzangst unbedingt vermeiden! Zentrum ist in der Nähe, der Strand ist nur mit Bus/ Auto/ Roller erreichbar. Täglich nur aufgeregt, B&B verwies auf Reiseveranstalter und umgekehrt. Es wurde von beiden Seiten nichts zumutbares angeboten. Wer einen Gefängnis Adventure Urlaub in einer runtergekommenen, aber faszinierenden Stadt, erleben möchte, sollte unbedingt nach Catania ins B&B Giro Nel Mondo und das Zimmer „Iglo“ wählen. Das B&B steht nicht für bed & breakfast. Wir haben das Etablissement einen Tag vorher verlassen, da es eine Zumutung war. AurumTours sollte man als Reiseveranstalter meiden, da die sich nicht um das Wohl der Kunden bemühen und einem im Stich lassen!

Sicuramente sarà la prima e ultima volta, check alle 16 (ma questa è stata una svista nostra avendo prenotato con booking), accoglienza pari a zero da parte del ragazzo, entriamo in stanza che devo dire è carina, tutto in tema, ma frigo spento = acqua calda. Ci dice l'acqua la offriamo noi!! Ma grazie mille, con le 2 euro che doveva riportarci come resto può comprarsi una confezione, ma figuriamoci di certo non gli vado a chiedere l'irrisorio resto. Cosa ancor più grave nessun bicchiere, ma d'altronde come se venissimo dal cantiere possiamo anche bere a garganella. Infine doccia con muffa a bordo vasca. Le stanze troppo vicine (ammassate) l'una con l'altra, e se capiti con altri clienti un po' maleducati, gli devi chiedere gentilmente di non parlare davanti la stanza. Il risveglio la mattina senza caffè (ok non aver inclusa la colazione), ma una macchinetta e 4 cialde non costerebbero nulla...in Sicilia il caffè non si nega a nessuno.

personale molto gentile, in particolare la ragazza che ci ha accolti. stanze molto spaziose e letto molto comodo. le stanze molto ben curate con i loro disegni caratteristici. tutto ben tenuto e curato nei dettagli. lo consigliamo e ci torneremo sicuramente!
