It's unfortunate that I chose your hotel to have a staycation and it's unfortunate that your lobby has no AC, and it's unfortunate your front desk clerks has no manners and it's unfortunate your 3pm check in time does not apply, cleaning of the room wasnt compleyed until 4pm, it's unfortunate your manager, when requested, NEVER CAME, though a request was made, by me to speak to her and no communication was shared that she would not be meeting with me, as I stood in the hot lobby at the front desk with my 2 kids awaiting her arrival. Your front desk representative need to be re-trained in customer service, face to face interactions and how to treat guests. The rooms are nice, shower door doesn't close, no comforter provided just a sheet on the bed, and a roach was seen coming out if the drain by the bathroom door. Food took 60 mins to arrive after the order was placed and tasted good. The only reason I gave this 1 star was because your servers amd bartenders are the most amazing courteous humans, constantly apologizing on the hotel's behalf.

Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a peaceful weekend. Chaquacabana resort & beach club is the ultimate destination for relaxation and rejuvenation. I cannot wait for my next visit!!! I would highly recommend this beach resort.

This hotel has the best views. This compensated for the inconveniences such as the bright flood light in front of the bedroom which shines directly inside and negative effects of light is migraines. i was told that there was nothing that can be done about the lights. However , that aside the breakfast was good, the drinks was good and they were very generous with the alcohol cocktails. The shrimp cocktail was also delicious , the kitchen staff and the bar staff was very friendly, courteous and the ambience at night and daytime was worth it. The windows didnt close in the bathroom but because the rooms are high off the ground there were no insects and no mosquitos. I would recommend blankets or duvets for the rooms which would make it more comfortable. The room was very clean and welcoming however , there was no soap or extra towels in the bathroom and im sure that can be corrected. I will visit again and for a longer period to thoroughly enjoys this facility.

Plain food which is good enough. The fried fish and wedges was good enough as was the chicken cordon bleu. A nice place to sit out and admire the view. The restaurant overlooks the Caribbean Sea and you can sit outside. Nice . I would happily go back. The waitress really strove to please.

This is specifically a review of the food and bar at the beach club. There was a long wait for food and then when the food came to the table it was missing a majority of the ingredients described on the menu for each item we ordered. The staff AND chef had to check the menu when I told them about the missing ingredients to confirm that it was actually supposed to come with the food like they didn't know their own menu. The drinks at the bar tasted really watered down. The customer service was poor. Honestly, I'd never recommend this place to anyone.

Making a reservation was a pain,could not get on to them via phone or whatsapp.place needs more maintenance but since the rates cheap i guess the rooms are in the condition there're in.staff was pleasant and the food was good.

Firstly to even book the place is horrible. You have to whatspp and your questions are answered by a robot...at least you would think so. "What's the difference in the couples rooms besides the bed size" Ans: "The bedsize". Anyways..booked eventually..arrived on a Saturday. We were asked to check in 1 hour later and the room still wasn't ready...and when it was ready. It still wasnt ready..had to remind them of a bath mat..what we were hoping to be a serene getaway turned out to be a seeming ghettoway. Place was flocked with tweens..some attempting to break dance to the worst soca trinidad has to offer at an unavoidable decibel. Felt like an end of term kids party was happening. If that's what you're looking for then 5 stars. Went to bathe at the pool only realize the pool showers weren't working so no to that. Wifi never worked and a friend staying next door had to battle cockroaches in bed and wake up to no water in the morning. Went from breakfast and you could tell they were understaffed. Staff was frustrated and was doing a poor job at hiding it. The place is nice but should have lowered my expectations that if the lobby wall still had the initial primer quote it wasn't going to be good. Better management and marketing and this place has the potential to attract a better crowd.

Booked this place based on a recommendation due to the size of my group and everything being booked for Carnival 2023! This palace has good potential but needs a LOTTTTT of work and a customer service reboot. let’s start with the rooms made of glass windows, love the sun but sometimes one needs to sleep in, not possible. On a windy day, the glass panes rattle so badly that it wakes you up. Also, love carnival and understand there will be parties (fetes) however, it would be great when guests ask a week before getting there that is shared so we will know what to expect (especially for first-timers). Any noise from outside the room you will hear clearly. Pray your room door locks work and you don’t have to use a chair to keep the door closed. Safe, shower head and doors all broken in all 3 separate rooms we booked. Had to ask for towels in the room every day we were there. Rooms were not cleaned every day and rugs and the sofa needs to be replaced or cleaned. No numbers on any buildings so good luck finding your room by walking up to every door to all 8 identical buildings. Wi-Fi and TVs only work 1% of the time. Ahhhh.. back to the windows. The hotel decided to host private Fetes (parties) every night in their parking lot or the beach/pool area, the speakers were the size of a small SUV. Can imagine our torture (no sleep). With the windows not able to close we heard every song for 8 hours clearly. WHAT did we get a wristband for, could not join the parties or use the amenities!!! Carnival Monday after being on the road, returned to the hotel for some RR and get ready for Tuesday (early day and what you pay good money to enjoy) the room rented out next to us was having a party, playing music and smoking **** (had to put pillows under our door, not to get a contact) until the wee hours of Tuesday morning. WTH… not what we paid for! The staff tried their best… but as I said a management overhaul…. Can help mitigate all of the issues and then maybe the staff will be empowered to focus on better customer service.

I came to the resort — if you can call it that — for a wedding, expecting a taste of island life, and what I got was absolutely worse than I could have imagined. We were lead to our room, with our friends having to drag their suitcases on soggy grass before they picked them up to carry them, then up slippery stairs to our penthouse suite. Upon scoping out the room, we found plenty that made us uneasy about the room including three door handles broken off, a door that was shattered but still in place but wouldn’t close. We voiced concerns to staff who said they’d come and fix the doors but never came back. However, they did change both of the bedding since both beds had stains on them. The carpet stains I can handle. Our room was the top, which smelled so bad of mildew I had to keep the windows during all day time hours. There was also mold in the bathrooms. At the top floor there was what was supposed to be a large glass window, it was a window but there was over an inch that had settled, now just letting nature in. The second day of our stay was a fete at the cabana’s parking lot, so to that open slot, music blasted into our rooms all night. Our friends downstairs had to put tissues into their windows to keep them from shaking. Getting food service was incredibly slow. I can cut a small team a break, but two hours for four pasta dishes, two of which had the same sauce is a little much. So If you do still choose to come here, order your food far before you think you’re going to be hungry. My partner and I tried to get breakfast and were told we’ll be right back only to still wait an additional 15 minutes and no one came back. The breakfast buffet was a joke. Not enough food or plates to serve the amount of guests that were there. However I want to say waiter Brian rocked. Big smile the whole time. And the view, something I longed for on this vacation. Our view was into another cabana that must be under renovation, so we got to look at plants growing through the balcony.
