Red Roof Inn Chattanooga Airport

The hotel room was newly renovated and it was clean felt like a 5star hotel

Enter the room and it had a strong smell of smoke. The bed cover was badly stain and the walk way had trash left out in the open. The ice machine needed cleaning and the overall appearance of this Red Roof was a big disappointment. The gentleman at the desk was polite and apologized for any inconvenience and I was given a refund.

This is by far the worst Red Roof Inn in which we have stayed. It was Very very dirty. Toilet had urine and toilet paper in it. Brown crud on walls . Brownish red crud at base of toilet. Comforter had stains. Gunk on front of fridge. Beds were hard. Pillows were flat. We will be not be returning.

This was probably one of the sketchiest places I have ever stayed. I felt compelled to carry my gun just to go check in and slept with it under my pillow (first time ever!) The place is filthy and run down. The lady at the counter was nice but distracted by a flirtatious guest. If i wasnt so exhausted from driving through the mountains, i would've drove another hour just to get away from the place. The pictures dont show it all: there were set-in stains on the bedsheets, covers and towels, dirty bathroom, the security latch on the door was held with one loose screw. The place was just a mess. I should've asked for a refund the next morning. The place was bad.

room could've been in better condition. state of amenities were to be expected for the price but at least a minimum theres free coffee and the atmosphere is friendly. customer service is actually quite reasonable and was helpful when i made requests as well. 4/5.

By Far The Worst Hotel I'VE Seen. Walked In, Walked out. Girl passed out at the top of steps. Door busted in. Blood and burnholes on sheets and some type of crusty substance on bedspread. The air unit was leaking and I used a towel to wipe it up, as you can see in the pictures, the floor was black. There was toilet paper crammed into the peephole because it had been knocked out and was no longer there. The bathroom door had been kicked in so hard it had split and the wood was coming through. It would not close. At the bottom of the stairs were 2 more homeless people with backpacks, food, drinks and carrying a portable TV. I stepped over the passed out girl twice and she never moved. I was beginning to wonder if she had overdosed but I didn't want to get involved. In the parking lot I was approached twice by people asking for money. I got into my car and called Red Roof guest relations. I explained my situation and that I was afraid to stay there alone for 2 nights. I asked if she could simply move me to the Lookout Mountain location. I explained I completely understand there would be a price increase and I would happily pay the difference even though I felt I should not have too. She told me she could not help me I had checked in. I told her I went in looked at the disgusting room and street people and came back out. I also explained to her it was my understanding that as a redirewards member I had until 4pm to cancel or change my reservation. She said not if you have went into the room. I needed to go back to the front desk. I told her I was scared to be there and since she did not want to help me in anyway I would get in touch.with Chase bank and let them get involved. I immediately called my credit card company who advised me to leave the keys in room and leave, not to stay if I felt threatened. I was there with my chihuahua and I don't mean to sound pretentious, but I drive a Mercedes convertible and I really did not think it would be there if I spent the night there. My husband and I have worked hard for what we have so the people asking for money was ridiculous. I read reviews and most of the time take them with a grain of salt. There are people that will never be satisfied no matter what. I have exaggerated nothing in this review. If you have any other option at all, take it. Do not stay here. Also....the pics of the rooms on this site, ********** and Red Roof website are all fake. Nothing looks like any of these pic as you can see by mine.

Worst experience ever! Room may have looked clean but wasn't. Floor was sticky near bed in one area. Bed had one sheet along with some kinda of sheet cover that had cigarette holes, and no blanket. Headboard had holes and large scratch marks. Ceiling light fixture had dead flies in it. Bathroom was painted a sloppy dark color and bathroom door and frame which looked like a dog had fun. The one chair room had looked like it had seen better days and you wouldn't have wanted to sit in it. Good thing all I need was a place to rest.

I was travelling with my dog. I use Red Roof Inns cos its easy to choose hotels. I didn't read any reviews. That was my biggest mistake. As I travelled to Florida and back to Kentucky, the hotels got worse and worse. This one being the absolute WORST! Started when I checked in and was given wrong key to wrong room. Went in and first saw blood on comforter and was about to turn around to address this and saw someone else's luggage. I was given key to another room. I was unfamiliar with area, so I figured I'd endure this. Peeked in pillowcases and there was blood on pillows. I started crying. I was tired after travelling all day. I should have just left. Then I pulled back sheets to check for bedbugs and didn't see any, but I did see stains on sheets, so I put new clothes on after shower and tried to sleep over comforter. My dog kept hearing sounds outside. It was seedy location with nearby homeless hanging out. I was getting chilly and turned off a/c fan and my dog and I heard something eating my dog's dry food. That's it-I laid down at around 9pm and was up at 3am and packed car and checked out and left. When I got home, I shook my stuff and washed in hot water and checked my dog for fleas, because I had all these bites on my legs and arms. Not sure if it was from room or the no-see-ums when I was in Florida. OMG never using Red Roof Inns again. I WILL pay pet fee from now on. It was so terribleQ!
