I wish more people could read all the negative reviews about this property because they are all true. Consider yourself warned. I lived in London Heathrow Guesthouse on a rolling contract for 5 months. Since Ieft in May 2022, the caretaker Tony has withheld my deposit for false allegations. He’s asserted that I’d broken the door lock and needed to replace the entire door as a result. I have evidence that there’d been pre-existing damage to the door, and despite my requests to have it checked, he’d left the the property in disrepair. It’s taken him months but he’s not provided a quote for the repairs—because he did not get anything repaired at all. I visited the guesthouse in November 2022 to verify that. He flat out lied about it to scam me, and yet he claims he’s been in the business for 15 years. A business of what exactly? The hosts can pretend to be nice, friendly, and helpful. But don’t fall for it. Now I have a small claims case against them. Avoid at all costs if you value your peace of mind and well-being. Worst decision I’ve made in choosing my accommodation.
