A truly beautiful small hotel perched above a hilly landscape. Amazing architecture/restoration by the british « These White Walls »-team. Garden, view, pool and spa are unique and merit highest notes as do the breakfast and the receptionists. Slightly negative points: standard rooms are small and rather dark and you can hear every step/word spoken in the hallway. Matresse is hard and seems worn out (already ?). Dinner in Bistro left mixed feelings: the langoustine bisk pasta and the beef rib were excellent, the plim beef ravioli came with a too heavy meat sauce and the grilled Radicchio was clearly below standards: hardly chewable and drowned in unmatching breadcrumbs. And one really negative point: sustainability is high on here but why offering in-room water in aluminum cans? My advice: definitely to visit but treat yourself to a bigger room and check out the gastronomic L’Orto Restaurant.

This is really a beautiful new boutique hotel. It’s a great place to just relax and enjoy the Spa, pool and the grounds. But if you do want to venture out the concierge go out of their way to help you make reservations and plan tours. Their recommendations are good. All the restaurants they recommended were excellent. We especially loved La Curia restaurant at a near by town. They had organized a truffle hunt for us through El Valet. I highly recommend you have the hotel book for you. It os a unique experience that you won’t forget. El valet is a family run business on their private property you experience the truffle hunt and after have a delicious meal with truffles and good wine. Nordelaia’s Lounge has good food and is a great place to try out their wines from their vineyard. The Rose and Barbera is very good. It’s worth buying and you must buy it there as it’s not a wine you will find at a wine shop. And they are still working out shipping. The most impressive breakfast in Italy! I don’t normally eat breakfast but when you see their menu of cooked to order food it’s delicious! I had their eggs florentine, fresh juices and baked breads. It doesn’t get any better than that! The hotel is spotless; the rooms are beautiful and have amazing views. You do need a car, but you can walk to the town of Cremolini. It’s a nice walk through a wooded area. Parking is easy and on premise. They offer wine tours of their vineyard and Casa Wallace vineyard is close by. Overall I think this hotel is a great deal. It’s more a 5 star property than 4. It has great facilities, great restaurants and excellent service!

Wonderful place on the hills of Piemonte. Great decor and very good overall service at the hotel -- the food at the bistrot was not very exciting and service was a bit rushed. The pool area is stunning and rooms are equipped with amazing terraces.

Wow what an amazing find!.. Nordelaia is such a wonderful luxury resort with great food, wine and a truly outstanding staff. Prior to arriving, the ladies as reception where extremely helpful with all our questions/requests and were so responsive. When we arrived, they were just as warm and helpful as we expected. We spent 4 fabulous nights there and truly relaxed every minute. We had a fantastic room with a private terrace that overlooked the pool and the glorious mountains. We took advantage of all three restaurants and enjoyed every meal! We also indulged in the wine tasting as well as the cooking class. Both were fantastic (highly recommend both), but I must call out the private cooking class with Charles where we learned so much and ate more fantastic meals. We are anxious to try out the two recipes on our own. The resort itself with spa is luxurious and we found it very hard to leave. We will definitely return and probably with our adult children the next time. Nordelaia is truly a special place….don’t wait to book as I am sure once word gets around, it will be difficult to get a booking.

This property was beautiful. Lots of nice day trips to explore surrounding small towns and sites. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was top notch. Young, innovative chef with creative dishes and a zest and pride for his craft. The sommelier was very knowledgeable about wines and had worked at some very high end places in the states. Really great experience! The spa was great. Had several treatments while there and it was the perfect ending to a day of exploring. It was such a beautiful, small setting but the only thing I can say was they had small children there. I like children, but they only have 12 rooms so it was rather bothersome at times to hear children up and down the halls. That was more to the parents not showing respect for other guests but nonetheless, I think the staff should have made sure to put them in a part of the hotel that was not amongst guests who were there for a romantic getaway, especially for the dollar amount. Wasn't crazy about having to download an app to contact front desk which didn't work very well. Overall, I would definitely go again. It was really a beautiful property and the surrounding area is spectacular. Thank you to all the staff! We had a great time.

We only stopped for one night, the last cuddle before going back to work. The location is very quiet and bucolic. The place is beautiful, with attention to every detail. We had the dog with us, and it wasn't a problem at any time. We treated ourselves to a couple's massage and it was absolutely worth it! The staff is friendly and helpful, much appreciated. We had dinner at the Bistrot and we were very happy, finding the same impeccable professionalism that characterizes the hotel. If I have to find a flaw, on arrival they forgot to check our green pass, which I regretted a little. At the restaurant they asked it to everyone, so I want to believe that it was just an oversight and not the practice. We will definitely be back!
