All the three owners of the hostel are so so so sweet and kind. I had AMS so was feeling ill when I arrived at the hostel. The owners took such amazing care of me. I was so touched. They also made sure that I was warm at night by providing me with a heater.

We had a very good experience! We could check in late in the evening. The rooms are well decorated, have very comfortable beds, a warm shower, and a small heater when needed (Cusco can be cold in the night!). There is a basic breakfast included. The view from the breakfast room is just stunning!! The view alone is already worth the stay (: The location is central: 5 minutes walking to the main plaza and all the restaurants. Lastly, the staff was very helpful. They gave us good tips for the environment, and informed about our pick up times for the tours we did (like rainbow mountain, we were picked up at 4.00 am). They got up early in the morning and called us when the pick up was there. They were highly trustworthy. Conclusion: a comfortable stay in the city center, with a beautiful view & nice people included! We can definitely recommend a stay here

The landlord was constantly creating trouble with using water in the bathroom. I have booked with bathtub. The landlord did not only deney to handle the plug for the bathtub but also knocked at the room's door to shout not using too much water to shower. The tone and volume of the language used was shockingly mad. Moreover our room was not cleaned. He said you have to tell otherwise they don't. We did get a fresh towl but we had to deal with the owners bad mood when asking, though not every day we wanted. Besides the veranda has a very nice view out over the city. But that view in no way compensated the disadvantage to make the way back from Plaza de Armas to the hostel, since that direction means climbing the hill. Before I was in one of the plenty diferent places hosted in Cuscu and made a much more welcoming experience, e.g. for the cold nights we got in a diferent place a heater for free while freezing at Hostal Qolqampata.

A family run business that really shines through. They were very accommodating to meet our needs. We used qolcampata as a base while in cusco and when we were away on trips they kept our bags safe for us free of charge until we returned. They also provided a laundry service which was extremely handy. The rooms were of a very good standard for a hostel with large comfy double bed and a heater in the room which was great for the chilly evenings. Location is perfect. 10 min walk from main plaza de armas, so was lovely and quiet. Beautiful views overlooking cusco from their balcony where you could relax and enjoy. For breakfast was choice of fried or scrambled eggs with local pan bread, simple but tasty and again views from dining room are stunning 😍 Thank-you again hostel qolpampata. X

The Hostal was cute and cozy with wonderful views and warm comfy beds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful giving us great suggestions around the area and helping us arrange transport and other needs.
