Hotel Mavi Beyaz

Specifically chose this hotel for the sea view and large balcony (which on the photographs looked incredible). Paid upfront on a non refundable deal and spent more than we did on any other accommodation for our trip around Turkiye as it was the first night and we wanted to treat ourselves. Spent the day in Datça then drove 40 minutes to Palamutbuku arriving early evening as we didn't want to dive in the dark with our toddler. On arrival we found the place deserted. The hotel was completely empty and closed up. With all our luggage outside the door to reception and a crying toddler, we eventually found a phone number and the person we spoke to acknowledged it was closed and offered us a room at their sister hotel in Central Datça. At this stage and time of night we had no choice but to accept. 40 minutes drive back to Datça where we had come from and a struggle to find the hotel, we eventually arrived in the dark. We were given a room which was fine but no balcony and no sea view and, ultimately, not what we had booked and paid for. Trip and the hotel have refused to even partially refund us or compensate us at all for the fact we didn't receive what we booked and paid for and the inconvenience and stress of an hour and a half unnecessary extra driving with a toddler. Very poor service. Would not recommend the hotel and will never use Trip again.

Where to start. Over priced hotel with 2 star standards. Wasn’t really any other guests there. Another couple moved hotel, food was overpriced and plain. Staff not interested in guests. Rooms are dated more like hostel. Don’t stay at this hotel, there are hotels close by which are much nicer. Beach not looked after. Poor hotel looks like closing down, was out of stock of nearly everything. No staff so waited 25 mins to get a drink and no one else was waiting. Avoid

Sea is excellent, hotel is very good. Located in the end of coast, silent and quiet good place. Service is nearly excellent except for breakfast. Breakfast could be better. Rooms with balcony is small but enough for couples. Lunch and dinner menu is like italian cousine. We enjoyed staying in the hotel.

27 Eylül 2022 günü yaptığımız beach ziyaretimizde; garsonun müşteri tutumu ve bilgi veriş şekli son derece otelin 5 yıldızına yakışmayacak düzeydeydi. Sahilde sipariş verecekseniz garson size değil siz garsona gidiyorsunuz.. Bu arada garsonlar kendi aralarında müşteriden birhaber hasbihal ediyorlardı.. Sonra verdiğimiz çay ve kahve siparişi buzzz gibi geldi.. Tuvaletlerinin bile açık olup olmadıklarının farkında değillerdi. Yakında olan WC yerine uzakta ve kapalı olan WC ye yönlerdirmeleri de ayrıca ayrımcılıktı.. 1 adet Miller birayı 125.-TL ye satmalarına lafım olmaz ama garsonlar asla ve asla geceliği 10.000.-TL olan otele olmamış..👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The location and the sea is fantastic! However the breakfast that is included is low quality, and not delicious! if you eat dinner or launch in the hotel’s restaurant , it is overpriced!!! Our previous stay on 2016 was much better, this time the quality went down ! In such a great location, they should do their best!!!

I was here with my family for 9 days, green sea, great beach, nice stones to grab. The personal is very kind and positive, they were taking care of the kids from time to time, especially Mûslüm who was always available when needed. I will be back

This used to be a lovely hotel with mesmerising view and service. We observed that, unfortunately, many things had changed for the worse. It was the second time when we stayed there with my husband in September 2021. We had loved our first stay so much that we looked forward to going there a second time. However, we were disappointed on several fronts. As it is evident, this is not a cheap hotel. High prices can be tolerated as long as the service is excellent. This was not the case this year. We had to change rooms due to the air conditioner which was not working. The beach was very badly looked after. At such a price, you do not want beach showers that are rusty or not working at all. Beach chaise-longues that were broken and walk-ways that had broken and missing pieces were a sad sight. Lunch and refreshment service at the beach was slow because of inadequate staff. The restaurant prices were much higher than before even when the adverse effects of the pandemic are taken into consideration. Mavi Beyaz Hotel enjoyed being a monopoly at Palamutbükü for a very long time. But now, there are other nice places to stay and dine in the bay. The hotel seems to have made a big investment for its new branch in downtown Datça. I believe this is the main reason why things have gone down in this one. This is a very big mistake in my opinion as now there are several other options in the area.

Palamutbükü is an amazing place and Mavi Beyaz is the best hotel there. Do not expect a five star hotel but five star staffs and sea. If you are looking for a relax holiday and amazing swim, you should consider Mavi Beyaz. There you can find great service (particularly by Alinda, Şükran and Müslüm) that can fix small problems and let you enjoy your vacation. Well done Mavi Beyaz (and Alinda, Şükran and Müslüm)
