Location is perfect. However the general environment still got rooms to be improved.

Good for one night sleep. Basic breakfast, a bit noisy and not really well maintained. Toilet was clogged up.

Worst customer service

• The owners are growing their brand and currently renovating this property. • The owner seems to genuinely care about the property, the guests and the quality of service. • Overall the front desk staff is professional and cordial; but, there is on bad apple in the bunch - - a guy who is imperious and overbearing and who acts as if the guests are somehow beneath him. If you ever get flagged as a "bad guest," it was done by this guy; check your credit card bill for a "ghost charge" (i.e. one you did not make or authorize). • Given time, this property may be a quality go-to boutique hotel. Hopefully, without any "bad apples".

The pictures of the site are quite misleading. You expect to find a room like the ones in the pictures but it is not the case. The building is old and located next to a sketchy parking lot. The furniture is old and the included breakfast is not good. The people at the reception were nice and helpful but nothing impresive. Overall, I would not come back.

Stayed there for a Detroit Lions game. Hotel is undergoing renovation. Lobby furniture had been taken out and they weren't offering the free breakfast as advertised on Agoda. I will resolve that issue directly with Agoda. Rooms have dated, old carpeting. Walls had some unpainted patches. Cable TV didn't work until I did my own troubleshooting and found a loose connector. In-room coffee maker didn't work. Smoke detector started beeping every time I used the bathroom fan. I pointed these issues out to the front desk in the AM, Nov 17. They said they needed time to find a new coffee maker. They didn't follow up until I asked again in the evening. Nor did they address the smoke detector isssue. It is in a decent location within walking distance of the riverfront. There's an urban supermarket across the street. It's also within walking distance of downtown and the sports stadiums, or you can take a bus. It's not a luxury hotel, and the rates are very reasonable. Though it could be a much better experience if they performed basic room maintenance and if the front desk tried to address problems instead of deflecting them back to the guests.

This is the most DISGUSTING place I have ever stayed in. I would have rather slept outside. The beds sink in, in the middle. There's 2 inches of dust on everything & I mean everything. The toilets don't flush. When we arrived we were informed there was no hot water & that they wouldn't be charging us the $100 deposit that we didn't even know about. The shower had ***** in it. The freezer had a one inch layer of dirty ice in it with random dirt and hairs. It smelled like cigarettes, dog and pee. The floor felt sticky. I went in cleaned the toilet and sink area before we even got settled. I could say more, but I'll just post a few pics.

My daughter & I went to Ford Field to see Ed Sheeran. We wanted to stay the night & found that places around there were very expensive. Came across this place & reading some of the reviews we were a little apprehensive. Decided to give it a try & so glad that we did. Place was clean, affordable price & the staff & service was excellent. Walking distance to Ford Field & Comerica Park. Will definitely go back again. I’m from Canada so it’s a great place to stay if we want to spend a weekend in the States.

We stayed here as it was closed to the Tigers' ballpark. It was very loud because of the road; and even louder because of the party in the room downstairs (neither of which is the hotel's fault). Room was very basic, the hi speed WiFi was slow and only available outside our room door and the free breakfast coffee was cold. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
