A quiet and beautiful place surrounded by beautiful nature. People are friendly and professional. A wonderful SPA center with a beautiful pool and wonderful mineral water from the Dolomites. Close to the ski resort and the beautiful national park. Definitely worth a visit.

It is with considerable regret that I cannot recommend this campsite. Its proprietors have no idea of service and the campsite itself is shabby, overgrown with ****s and dirty. Do not be lured by the glitzy, outsourced and carefully airbrushed website (PS my malware software detected dangerous links which I haven’t reproduced for obvious reasons) claiming to offer 5 star camping. We had booked a week in a premier pitch 5 months in advance for a really relaxing break. We were promised at least 150 square metres of lush lawn and all-weather surface and a view of the Dolomites. The reality is that this is a reasonably flat, lightly terraced and over-populated site that is badly in need of care and renovation next to a busy road which is popular with bikers at the weekend and trucks and buses during the week. When we arrived the road surface was being replaced with all the noise and smell that implies. We hadn’t been warned of this. There is no discernible difference between the premier and comfort sites apart from the price, but more of that later. My wife was astonished not even to be acknowledged by a receptionist who was looking at a computer when she went to book in. The proffered pitch was unsatisfactory; we were unable to access it with our large rig and it had a two storey wooden hut immediately behind it. The escorting man on the golf buggy seemed to find it a terrible chore to be helping paying guests. I reversed 100m to an offered replacement. We cleared the dog faeces off the pitch first. It was getting late, so it wasn’t until the following morning I realised that the pitch was in no sense of the word premier. It was 10 by 8 metres of gravel and long ****s. The view was of an overnight motorhome park and an overflowing dog waste bin. Not the Dolomites. After a complaint to reception, they couldn’t offer us any other premier pitches, but a quick stroll round the campsite revealed that the comfort (less expensive) pitches were one side of reception and had far better views than the more expensive premier ones on the other side. I still can’t work out what the difference is. We moved to a decently large pitch. It was however on a busy campsite route and while we had no company at first, it soon filled up with other people within 2 metres of our van. We also had to clear dog faeces from this pitch. The website makes much mention of the addons. There is a wellness garden which is simply a haphazard walk through various muddy and boggy puddles until you reach a special Knieppen area. This is actually a few dried up bits of fir branch to walk over. One good thing – it’s free. That’s unique here. It was originally an outside pool, but there is now no outdoor pool (in a campsite – seriously?) but there is, at a price, a bookable regimented indoor pool. There is a fee for everything: even emptying your own toilet cassette into a machine costs €2 a clean. The chemical toilet rooms stink like a pig farm, too. (Yes, I did try both toilet blocks).

So utterly wow that we will be returning next year and are currently awaiting a Christmas cancellation. Staff are exceptional. My only gripe is that the pool was very crowded but this is totally understandable at peak summer. We booked a private bathroom but the facilities are so glorious you don’t even need one. Sparkling clean and well maintained. All the guests were delightful and honestly it was our best stay all summer. Special shout out to Jerry, you’re an utter legend and we can’t wait to see you again!!! I should probably add that we were able to beg for the last pizzas at almost 10pm following the journey from hell, they couldn’t have been any kinder. A massive thank you xx

Stayed here for 2 nights: 1 at the normal hotel room and 1 night at the treehouse. The normal hotel room was really bad - lighting was gloomy, no enjoyment was just a room for the night. But for the price paid, can’t quite complain. The treehouse was beautifully designed, loved it and the private sauna, would have rather stayed here for 2 nights. However Pity that it lacked the finer finesse / touch such as the soap (didn’t feel very premium, conditioner was really bad my hair was dry and frizzy the day after), sticker was torn etc, and cleanliness didn’t feel very clean. No bedroom slippers provided too. Would have been willing to pay few hundred bucks more if the room had these finer touches. Breakfast was overall good and good choices. The heated pool and sauna is designed well - very nice concept with great seating and even a small beach area for children. But imo, was spoilt by the crowd (too many people around, even in the sauna) and it did not feel very clean. Felt itchy after sitting on the deck chairs.

We have staid in the resort for 5 days end of May and it was great. We lived with our 3 children in lodge 5 which was amazing. Small for five but excellent. Especially the wellness area and the indoor pools were great. Our children loved it. The area in which the caravan park is situated is also incredible. 1550m above sea level in the middle of the national park, surrounded by a river and trees. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you to the team for the great stay. We will definitely come back.

One of the best camping pitches we have ever been. Very polite stuff, beautiful landscape, marvelous spa, good fibes all around – we will definitely return. With our e-mountainbikes we started all trails from our spot. If you need you can rent a car, but there is also a busstop just in front of the place.

Top Location with top services, top SPA. You will find almost everything you could want. Clean toilettes, washing machines, shop, restaurant and morr. On the other side it is very expensive comparing to other camping within the area. On top of the initial cost, making an example from the shop: a 220g Gas Can for the cooker at 6.90€ vs 2.90€ standard price.

This place could be amazing but it’s suffering from an identity crisis. It has no idea what sort of resort it wants to be: high end? …or family campsite? As a result it’s a veritable hotch potch of missed opportunities, profiteering and disappointments. It is not a place that represents good value in any shape or form, regardless which option you book. If looking for a charming chalet resort, you get this in part, but have the eyesore of motorhomes and caravans and tents on your doorstep. If you come for a wholesome down to Earth campsite experience, be prepared to pay-through-the-nose for access to basic facilities. (More on the laundry fiasco later.) Positives: The shop is one of the best stocked I have ever seen, with a good bakery section, and an amazing selection of well-being products, condiments and caravan accessories. Having said that we had no way of making Italian or German gas canisters compatible with our uk valves, suggesting few UK visitors (in fact we were the only ones). The location is delightful The food in the restaurant and the breakfasts are tasty albeit very expensive The playground is charming Negatives Deceptive marketing (“deals”) & website: the website is very glitzy and seductive although I should’ve known by the limited and selective photos and overall website navigation / lack of transparency that the resort is not all that it seemed. We had various conversations with the more open and genuine staff members and also some guests who agreed that the website is somewhat misleading and overselling itself. We had personal experience of this: We had actually pre-booked a 3-night minimum stay Gourmet Package online and then followed up with a phone call to confirm details. We specifically asked if it was half board, and they said that it was (and it was not). Equally there was an option on the website which appears to give great access to skiers with bespoke ski rooms and bathrooms for those with caravans (direct access to caravans) which is not actually the case at all and apparently (staff divulged that) there have been a number of people who have got to the resort expecting these particular things, only to be disappointed, much as we were. Restaurant booking & hours of service: when I called the resort pre-arrival I specifically asked if there was anything else that I needed to do before arrival (anything I needed to pre-book eg. spa / restaurant and they said no.) However upon checking in at 7 pm, we were told with a sorry shake of the head that we would need to book the restaurant for that very evening, despite being on a “Gourmet Package”. Nevertheless I went the few metres into the restaurant next to reception and asked to book supper for my family of five (assuming the booking was more of a formality than anything else) and was told that the restaurant was already fully booked! After some humming and hawing they reluctantly conceded and said they could fit us in late, and could we return at 8:45 and no ear
