i wish i could say my experience was great as stated on website but i must admit the food was terrible my gravy had skin as if it had been sat there for a few hours and also to m y delight i noticed a floating hair. i b rushed this of originally but the glass i drank out of had lipstick stains (must have been reused) as i stayed overnight i had many encounters with staff there was a pair of ladies that greeted me they were very irate and not very welcoming so there was a lack of customer service etiquette skills im very disappointed and will not be staying again.

Lovely welcoming pub, food wonderful and prices not too bad (considering with the situation of the cost of living) Will come again and hopefully not in the near distant future Worth going, please give them a try

Room was clean and warm, normal tea and coffee available in room, slept well and good breakfast, also had a nice meal, dog friendly and even gave her a sausage for breakfast, found a good walk from pub to see local area.

7 Bikes, 8 people, evening meal The team were very welcoming, we pre booked food options and it was ready when we were ready. plenty of space inside, great food and service. must give a big shout out for the best smelling male toilets I've been in :-) Will definitely be back soon

We stayed here as a 1 night get away for our wedding anniversary. The location of the Robin Hood is very quiet and tranquil opposite the green. Room was very clean and modern with a decent double bed and shower etc. The food here is top quality with a great variety along with a good selection of real ales and wines. Hospitality 10/10 also, couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely recommend to others.

I would love a Ricky Gervais or Steve Coogan to visit this place - as it could be made into a world class sitcom. What started out as bad service just became so bad it honestly became one of the most hilarious weekends of our lives. Let me give you a few genuine interactions. The barmaid with the short hair who checked us in was brilliant. Honestly if a character is made about her she would be David Brent fame While checking in. "Afternoon we have 4 rooms this weekend" "You need to pay for them" "We paid for them 18 months ago in full" "No you didn't" Then proceed to show her the email confirmation stating paid in full. "Oh fair enough" Asking the same woman with short hair why they were calling last orders at 9.50 on a Saturday night. Please bare in mind we had just spent a thousand pounds on rooms and food. "Last orders 9.50" "Is it normal for you to call last orders for hotel guests at 09.50 on a Saturday night?" "No - but I am going on holiday tomorrow and I have to get up early." While going down for the fully cooked breakfast we had paid for in the room rate. "Chef called in sick - do you want a bowel of coco pops?" When a little one in our party ordered mac n cheese? "The mac has gone off - do you want cheese sauce on spaghetti? The food was awful I mean really awful. Steak was burnt to a crisp, the peppercorn sauce was water, the weird woman with the short hair spilled tartar sauce all over one of our parties and no apology. The rooms were awful, nothing was cleaned properly, and by far the rudest service of my life. But please visit - everybody has to experience this place once.

What a lovely pub. My friend and I visited today for afternoon drinks and dinner. Starting initially in the front garden which offered a sunny spot which over looked the village green. Blankets were available should there be a need. The pub was nicely decorated throughout with lots of quirky items, particularly liked the glassware which was crystal like in design. A relaxing sofa would have topped the decor off but that’s just my personal taste. The pub staff and patrons were friendly and helpful so much so we stayed for dinner. The food was tasty and served in good time. Nothing flash just honest pub food which we liked. Definitely would visit again

I visited last Saturday night with my son and his girlfriend. Attentive and friendly staff. Good service. Great beef stroganoff and lasagne. There was a female duo playing who were good, which added to our visit. Would recommend.

We met friends for supper at The Robin Hood. The waitress was super friendly and made us laugh. Our meals were tasty and with excellent service. We will definitely return as we had a lovely relaxed evening. Very good value too.
