Morning Glory Inn

We absolutely loved it here! From the clean and spacious rooms to the friendly and welcoming people, we wouldn't have stayed anywhere else on the mountain! The owners communicated well with us and made sure we always had what we needed! 20/10 would recommend anyone there! Also, the food and family environment was priceless! Its about 15 minutes from Snowshoe mountain

Rose and Mark. From Brazil and UK. We are on a road trip across the US and decided to go off the beaten track and visit West Virginia. We were welcomed by both Stacy and daughter Savannah and Stacey's brother Scott. If you are looking to chill out and get away from the smoke and chaos of the big city then this is the place for you. Just a short 15 minute drive up to the Snowshoe resort for activities, bars and restaurants. And not far from the Cass historic railway. We were well looked after and would love to return in the winter when the snow comes. Thanks a lot and hope to visit again soon.

Staci and Savanah are friendly hosts at Morning Glory Inn. They have created a very meticulous and comfortable home for their guests. It was a relaxing stay. The art work and photos around the house are well done and the hummingbirds are amazing.

The Morning Glory Inn is a warm, friendly & very comfortable place. Our room was large with a wonderful king-size bed. Staci provided everything a guest could want or need - all the little details that make you feel at home. The home-cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a complimentary evening drink on the front porch while watching the hummingbirds and butterflies. Overall a wonderful and relaxing retreat. We would definitely like to return.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at an Inn/Bed and Breakfast. We were very pleasantly greeted upon arrival. We got there a few hours before check in so we went on to the location we came to the area to enjoy. Once we got back we checked in, unpacked, and basically settled in for the evening. The room was very nice and clean and felt very homy, I relaxed and "hid out" for the remainder of the evening. Next morning we had coffee and doughnuts and several other breads and cereals for breakfast. We loaded up and checked out and went on with our day. I would recommend staying here, we felt very welcomed and the whole atmosphere gave us a very relaxed and homy feeling.

The Morning Glory Inn has been our favorite place in the area for several years now, and we wanted to give kudos to the new owners, Nate and Staci. They've made some updates to the property, including high-speed, fiber optic internet. While they're not doing breakfast yet due to Covid, they do provide vouchers for a breakfast place that is right on the way to the slopes. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the common living room area feels like home. I would highly recommend this place!

We stayed at Morning Glory Inn for three nights. Our hosts Nathan and Staci were perfect hosts. Our room was extremely spacious. We felt we arrived as guests and left as friends. The location is ideal for visiting Cass Railway, Green Bank Observatory end Snowshoe Mountain. We will certainly stay at Morning Glory Inn when we visit West Virginia next time.

Very Disappointed. At a B& B, one thing you should expect is a decent breakfast. Not a danish & coffee that was offered. Rooms were nice, but walls were not insulated so you could hear you neighbors conversations. Even conversation from downstairs. Owners stayed up late entertaining a couple of guest, but noise kept us from sleeping. No WIFI, just wired internet. No Cable/satellite TV, just streaming which locked up regularly waiting for data. Pricey for what is provided.

You have to stay at Morning Glory Inn. It is well worth the drive. The owners, Nathan and Staci provided hospitality that blew us away! The room was extremely cozy and spacious. The room had a Cusinart regular filter coffe maker with supplied coffee tea and condiments, a small refridgerator, microwave, hair dryer and ethernet cable for internet. There are many amazing things to see such as the Cass Railroad train rides, Snow Shoe resort restaurants and shops, Green Bank Observatory and more. There is on-site parking right near the entrance. The outdoor seating areas provide a great way to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed way! The price includes breakfast vouchers that you use at the Route 66 restaurant near the Inn. The Yamaha player grand piano in the main livingroom area provided great music as an added bonus! If you are looking for an intimate, cozy, non-hotel enviornment, this is the place!
