Staff are quite rude and tried to scam me out of a 200 EUR deposit. Each room needs to pay a 200 EUR deposit on arrival. I paid by card and over a week after returning home the hotel had not responded to my emails requesting repayment. After calling them, they confirmed they were refusing to pay the deposit back and said that the room was left in a "deplorable state" and that there was blood stains left on all the mattresses, bed linen etc. This was simply untrue and after I said this to the staff member over the phone they said "it was their word against mine" and they wouldn't be returning the deposit. Thankfully my friend had taken photos of our room taken just prior to our departure which showed the room to be perfectly clean (no signs of blood as falsely stated by the hotel staff). I think they were shocked to see that we had photographic evidence to back up our claims and immediately paid me the full deposit back. Summary - IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOOKED TO STAY HERE, TAKE PHOTOS BEFORE LEAVING YOUR ROOM ON THE LAST DAY TO AVOID BEING SCAMMED BY THE STAFF.
