Sheraton Pilar Hotel & Convention Center

The staff were really friendly and helpful and were the best part of the hotel experience. The hotel itself is not 5 star anymore as its run down, old fashioned and in need of considerable maintenance and renovation. The towels were old and not absorbent, the hairdryer was broken and there was no kettle in the room. We enjoyed the pool and the grounds which are quite nice. Parking was convenient.

I spent 4 nights at the Sheraton Pilar over the Christmas holidays. I was visiting friends in Pilar who had in the past been very happy with this hotel. At first glance the grounds looked lovely, given the hotels nondescript location next to an expressway. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area lovely. Unfortunately, as you stay at this place you realize that COVID 19 has taken its toll. It is an badly need of capital improvements from refurbishing the rooms, repairing plumbing fixtures, changing the furniture in the common areas to resurfacing the tennis court. For instance, I had the maintenance replace over 10 lightbulbs in my room. They very willingly and quickly did it but it is amazing that nobody had it inspected the room ever to see that they were all out. The shower door was off kilter and scraped the tiles in the bathroom. No one had thought to fix this either. The windows need serious replacing as they do not provide proper sound insulation, particularly the one window that opens. This becomes very important when you read the rest of my review. There were 2 air conditioning units in the one-bedroom suite I had. Unfortunately one of them kept breaking down and was fixed twice. After the second time, I returned to my room where the air conditioning unit was making a burning smell. Now there was a heatwave going on but I would have thought that after 2 times they could get the unit fixed. The buffet breakfasts were quite frankly awful. It was almost impossible to even get natural yogurt and the rest of the breakfast was virtually inedible. Other than the fruit. Staff were very nice and very helpful so I have no complaints in that regard. However I got woken up every night either late at night or early in the morning because of people partying in the rooms or one morning the hotel even allowed a group of party people to go party in the convention area and leave the doors open at 6 AM in the morning. Not very respectful of the other guests. The final straw was the fact that the hotel arranged a private function called Meet Up , on Boxing Day. This was a function where the promoters basically took over the entire grounds so that the guests were not allowed to use the grounds or the pool. But moreover, this event was some type of singles gathering with hundreds of people dressed in white and noise from the speakers that could be heard while across the city. I should have clued in when we were the only people that seem to be left in the hotel by Sunday afternoon where had been otherwise full. When I complained to the management about the noise and the lack of the facilities and the potential for no sleep that night, yet again,, management offered me a room on the other side of the grounds where they believed it would be quieter in case the party did not end at 11 PM. It was almost laughable because the sounds coming from the speakers could be heard miles away. That no one thought to perhaps mention that to me that this event was

La habitación está bien cómoda. el baño todos los artefactos andando. la pileta cubierta quizás para este finde que había mucha gente resultaba medio pequeña pero estaba bien. el desayuno muy bien facturas, huevos panceta. Frutas jogures muy completo. las chicas de la recepción todas muy amables. el estacionamiento cubierto bien

Eu e meu filho fomos expulsos da piscina coberta porque 'já tinha dado 17h'. Desconheço alguma regra sobre proibição de criança de 4 anos em uma piscina coberta. Acomodações, comida, ambiente, limpeza, decoração... tudo ótimo. Mas de que adianta quando se é expulso com seu filho da piscina às 17h?

Hacia unos años que no nos quedábamos en este hotel, es un buen hotel pero está falto de mantenimiento, la radio o despertador hacia ruido, el aire acondicionado lo tuvimos que apagar porque también hacia ruido, el empapelado de las paredes manchado, zona de armarios destruida, etc. La cama era cómoda. Los 2 restaurants cerrados, en horario de cena, por lo que tuvimos que cenar en el lobby bar, donde tuvimos buena atención y la comida estuvo bien

Compramos el paquete de una noche de hotel más la presentación espectacular de Dios salve a la reina. El show espectacular es poco. Comida y organización de diez.Para recomendar. En cuanto al hotel cubrió mis espectacrivas. Está algo antiguo, alfombras viejas,empapelado viejo y deteriorado pero en general hotel agradable.Capitulo aparte todoo el personal.Super amables da gusto alojarse en este hotel. No pudimos disfrutar del espectacular parque y piscina exterior por condicio es climáticas. Piscina interna con agua temperatura ideal.Hermoso espacio.Vamos a volver.

Resto caro y malo. Un tenedor libre de comidas de paquete. Falta de mantenimiento general. Spa no anda habitaciones cómodas pero viejas y mantenimiento superficial. Vinimos hace 2 años y nada que ver Lo mejor el club kids Repito. No malgasten en el restaurante. 35 dolores por persona para comer fideos de paquete

Me alojé una noche el fin de semana del carnaval. A comparación de estadías anteriores lo vi más deteriorado, se nota la falta de mantenimiento. Al día siguiente de irnos, me contacté temprano a la mañana para avisar que me había olvidado un cargador del celu enchufado en la pared. Me avisaron al rato que lo habían encontrado y podía pasar a buscarlo. Cuando fui me entregaron únicamente el cable, faltaba el cargador y el adaptador. Me dijeron que estaba eso solamente pero que iban a volver a chequear y me contactaban. Tuve que volver a contactarme, me dijeron que no había nada, les expliqué que eso estaba enchufado y si encontraron el cable tenía que estar el resto. Lamentablemente nadie volvió a contactarse para hacer un seguimiento o dar explicaciones al respecto.

De sherathon solo le quedó el nombre En 2020 me instalé en el hotel y nada que ver esa experiencia con lo que tuvimos hoy El spa, bien./. Aunque no pude ir a los dos baños q había dentro del spa porque estaban tapados con… dot aviso y cuando vuelvo al spa para una sesión de masajes recién ahí escucho q le avisan al de mantenimiento (literal hora y media después) Restaurante, comes mejor en cualquier bar fuera del hotel q en un restaurante de 5* como lo es en este Pedimos ensalada ceasar estaba aguada, Lechuga quemada y machucada, condimento por demás y rebajado con agua Nos sentamos y habían dos sillas q la tuvieron q cambiar porque estaban rotas Pedí un yogurt con gramola y frutas y el yogurt vino de frutilla (en cualquier lado te traen yogurt natural y acá de frutilla y ni te avisan Lo cambié por unos huevos revueltos. Demoraron 30 min (siendo martes y había muy poca gente en el hotel) Cuando lo recibo, nada en un liquido aguachento ( no eran huevos babe) M A L I S I M O ) No lo recomiendo. El Hilton 1000 veces mejor
