Travelodge Bristol Cribbs Causeway Hotel

We were using the hotel as a midway stop overnight on our journey from Manchester to St Ives Cornwall, upon arrival the windows were open but the room smelled of damp, my 7 year old son spotted some ants on the toilet paper im the bathroom and then in the room near the clothes hanging section. We were just dropping out stuff off before getting some tea and as it was ground floor we closed the windows due to having expensive items with us (laptops etc). When we returned after 2 hours the smell of mold/damp was overpowering, we located some mold near to the head of one of the child beds near the wall. We thought its just one night try and ignore it, we put the tv on and just as getting settled in my 4 year old daughter spotted ants coming onto her bed. We then looked around and they were in little clusters all around the room. We went to reception and asked for another room, to be told the hotel was full and that there was nothing they could do, they didn't even offer to come and take a look. We then had to find ourselves a new hotel for the night and drive our 4 and 7 year old at 10pm to another hotel 15 mins drive away after a 5 hour drive that day already. We called them the next day and were told they would refund us. That was 9 days ago and still no refund!

The noisiest hotel we ever stayed it.. we stopped here to get us closer to the airport and wish had not bothered and just drove through the night, the hotel doors kept banging and guests were shouting in the corridors in th early hours.. we managed about 2 hours sleep between us.. great for a day of traveling with a young daughter and a teenager in tow..

Clean and comfortable beds staff are amazing Sam and Sharon on reception and Bonnie and Sarah cleaning staff were fantastic Always helped with any enquiry you had and we’re on hand 24/7 knew the situation you were in and always welcomed you with a smile

Great stay while visiting family in the area. The hotel was conveniently close to a shopping mall and restaurants. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay again next time we visit

Room was lovely clean. The receptionist sam was really helpful very noligable about the area when we asked about were we could eat and what we could do in the area . Great comucation easy check in . A great place to stay as a stop over on are way stay with family .

The staff were excellent and really helpful. Lucy and sharon were amazing. we had a really good stay. We had a newborn and they accomdated us really nicely by moving beds around for us. Anything we needed they helped us without a fuss. Really friendly and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend people to stay here. Family room is nice and spacious,

This hotel is conveniently close to M5, but small. It is set back from road (nr motorway) and shielded by trees, which absorbs noise. Windows have restricters, so can be open at night, for air (unlike other similar hotels). Staff gave a warm welcome and are friendly, helpful and approachable. Near fuel station, supermarkets and next to Miller & Carter steakhouse. Highly recommend.

I have Stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the past year for work and since it has been done up it’s been really really good hats off to the team they are always around for help if anything is needed I finally ate at the miller and carter next door this time round as well and was very impressed

Clean and tidy , staff were brilliant especially Laura, Sharon, Sam Amy Bonnie Sarah. So welcoming they went above and beyond. All ready to help assist. So friendly and so kind.. I can’t rate the staff enough. My room was clean tidy, keep up the great job
