Abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno in questa struttura e possiamo parlarne soltanto bene. Il personale è stato gentile ed educato. A tal proposito ringraziamo sia Carlotta, la ragazza che chi ha accolti, che la signora che ci ha servito la colazione tutte le mattine; sono state davvero garbate. Le camere sono spaziose, nuove e ben arredate; la posizione è perfetta.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. A good night's sleep is essential when you're traveling. Noise from building works on the upper floor of the building and music from the square outside, made it impossible to sleep well. When you make a booking you enter into a type of agreement that you will be provided with a room that is safe, clean, and suitable for occupancy - The RFC Repubblica Florence Core has failed to meet this standard. It is more a bed and breakfast than a hotel. It is a single floor in a building where a number of rooms are rented out - you each get codes to access the front door of building and the entrance door of the ‘B&B’ ….there is a house keeper who arrives in the morning to cook a basic breakfast. The room was spotless and elegantly decorated and the location is superb. However, building works on the upper floor started at 8am and went on all day until 4pm which included drilling, banging and loud hammering. Every night live music from the square outside continued until 1.45 am. It all made it impossible to sleep well. We received no prior notification that there was building works being carried out (the only notification we got was to pay them in full 7 days prior to arriving). We arrived Sunday and after our first night with little sleep we were woken at 8am with building works. I sent an e mail to the Manager and was told by e mail that the live music was only at weekends (which is not true - it happened every night). After night number 2 we were exhausted and despite making our concerns known, very politely and calmly, in person (to what we were told was the daughter of the owner) , by phone (had to leave a message as phone not answered) and by e mail (three e mails sent) - we never even received the courtesy of a reply. You are very much left to your own devices. The location is great but the lack of customer service and so much noise does not make it worthwhile. We had to pay upfront 7 days prior to arriving, with no refund policy after 7 days (a bit bizarre and not the norm). We thought it was better to book directly with the hotel - well that is not the case here. There is no refund policy and they have no noise / complaints-policy either. There was no courtesy shown to us at all - it felt like a right money making racket. Despite ear plugs etc, we tolerated it for 3 out of our 4 nights but we were exhausted and yes we left early. We are still waiting for the courtesy of a reply - but what would they care they got our money in advance. Buyer Beware - go somewhere else.

Central to most things in Florence. Biggest down side was the noise. Couldn’t sleep at night… You can hear virtually everything outside. The workers at Zara from across the street were drilling at 3 in the morning. Pillows were also very flat.

First of all you need to know that its an apar**ent not a hotel. Its a one floor apar**ent with a main door and other people staying there with you in other rooms. The owner runs the business and she brings a lady as a house keeping everyday to clean. The location is good and bad. Good because it’s literally on the square of the florence so when you leave the building, you are in the square. Bad because its so irritating and noisy. People are singing outside right under your room window at 3 AM. Also, construction at 6 AM. No Taxis can get in the square, but that is not a problem as they drop you off close, only a few streets away. My main issues with the apar**ent other than the noise: 1- when they cook breakfast in the morning, the smell and smoke of cooking gets into your room while sleeping. 2- The bed and pillow are really bad quality ones.
