This hotel was ideally situated just steps from the Ponte Vechio and a short walk from all the main attractions. We had a room on the top floor with a sitting area, kitchenette, bathroom and terrace with seating on one floor and the bedroom on the floor above. This gave us views of the city, across the rooftops. The kitchenette had tea/coffee, kettle, crockery, cutlery, microwave and fridge. There was plenty of storage in both the living area and bedroom. A lift took us dirctly to our room, which although small, was really helpful. The owner was waiting for us on our arrival and showed us how to access the lifts (there is a back up in case one is not working) and took us up to our room. Although the reception is not continually manned, one is able to contact the owner when needed - we had no cause to contact them, just dropped off our keys in the office when leaving. The room faced onto the road leading to the Ponte Vechio, which is extremely busy with tourists (not cars), but the soundproofing in the room was amazing and we were not disturbed by noise at all. The air conditioning worked well in both rooms. Breakfast is not provided, but there are plenty of places to get breakfast, including a place just across the road. We would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and facilities and would happily return here.
