Stay 8-21 August 2021 9 August; Return from from first day of class; key didn’t work; went down 2 separate times to get new keys; didn’t work; clerk had to let me in; went to get pick up a to go order from a nearby restaurant, came back got new room key from clerk and it didn’t work! So with my dinner in my hand, went back to front desk, and clerk said they had me staying for 2 night checking out on the 9th (today) so that is why it wasn’t working; I was very disappointed to keep it mildly as they had charged a hold on my credit card for the entire 14 day stay already! 11 August; at 11:15-11:35 pm, hotel fire alarm sounds for about 30 seconds; when leaving to evacuate the building, several guests who were already out said it was a false alarm; 12-21 August; the rest of the stay was great; particularly, the hotel has hand sanitizer stations literally everywhere, by each elevator on each floor, by the breakfast area, by the laundry room, and they all were filled daily because I would spot check by using them; they also had complimentary face masks for those who desired them as wearing them was optional for those who have been vaccinated; the interior common areas as well as the exterior front entrance and parking areas were consistently clean and free of any debris; lastly, the chambermaid for my room, Taija, did an excellent job as well and it made it feel like home; standard wall outlets and updated USB electronic charging ports are EVERYWHERE in the room, more than enough for cellphone, iPads, etc; the post gate is literally 6 miles away or about a 10 minute drive; I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel if visiting the Fort Knox/Radcliff, Kentucky area.
