Une catastrophe, un hôtel à l’abandon.
Même si le personnel est toujours serviable.
Très très déçu et content de partir.
L’hôtel n’est pas du tout eco-responsable.

C'est un hôtel très relaxant, la nourriture au restaurant est exquise et le goût est très bon, il y a une réduction de 20% sur la réservation ici, ce qui est une grande surprise, tous les agents ne peuvent pas bénéficier de cette réduction. La chambre est grande et la clim est un peu bruyante. De plus, j'ai réservé une chambre sans petit-déjeuner, mais l'hôtel a déclaré que tant que les clients entrant dans le complexe pouvaient profiter d'un petit-déjeuner gratuit, je ne sais pas ce qui s'est passé.

First & foremost, biggest compliments to the housekeeping team! We arrived in our villa around 2pm, went out around 4, and only returned at night after dinner to find: a mosquito coiled lit outside our door, bed has been made, coffee cups washed, rubbish bin cleared, how thoughtful!
The sight of the sea from the resort was superb, enhanced by the good weather. The welcome drink of calamansi juice with plum, aka Kitchai Ping as it’s known locally, was as good as my mom’s.
We initially intended to have the weekend hi-tea, but apparently it had to be pre-booked at least a day before. Thanks to that we got to enjoy happy hour instead, before having the weekend BBQ dinner that we managed to book a slot upon arrival. Bartender gave us extra kicks in our cocktails, thank you for taking our relaxation up a notch!
However we seemed to be unlucky with food serving. We booked for dinner at 6 but our happy hour session somehow made some miscommunications and delay. Food was good and a plenty, though we did notice satays were missing, but we were well fed. Breakfast order was also somewhat mixed up, kitchen must be overwhelmed with many guests, but we got what we wanted in the end.
Overall we are happy with our stay. We didn’t manage to explore the trails, perhaps we may return for a day trip in the future, and have that weekend hi-tea we missed.

This place is a perfect getaway for those who need a getaway from the hustle and bustle of their daily life. We had a warm welcome from the staff upon arrival (about 40mins boat ride from main island) and had a buggy send us to the rooms. Room was spacious. Dinner from the main restaurant was great. Staff were extremely friendly. Would recommend snorkelling in the morning from 8am onwards when the tides aren't too low. I was lucky enough to spot a turtle! Beware of crazy sandflies though. We got bitten real bad.

It was an amazing journey and enjoyable stay at the Island.We were pick-up and transferred to Bungaraya Resort at ***a Island from Jesselton Jetty in a big ferry owned by Bungaraya Resort .. there were only 4 passengers but i felt safe enough in that big ferry .. the sea was quite rough at that time.The service from registration at Bungaraya ferry point to the resort was superb.. they will carry all your suitcase from their office at the Jesselton Jetty until to your room at the Island. Thanks to Rizal and other Managerial staff of Bungaraya Resort our stay was wonderful and the Bungaraya Resort and surrounding was breathtakingly beautiful

Fantastic service from the staff. Love the toiletries and bug repellent spray from the resort's spa, even though we weren't into spa treatments. The restaurant menu is limited, but the food tastes good. There's not much to see if you're into snorkeling, but kayaking and paddle boarding are fun alternatives. The island is easy to reach from Kota Kinabalu city center, but you wouldn't be able to see sunrise or sunset from here. Evening high tide brought some debris to the shore, but the resort would clean them up in the morning. And they have buffaloes to deal with sandflies.
