SH Dolce Mare- All Inclusive- Free Beach & Beach Bar

I was in this hotel on a week's vacation and I will tell you one thing. It was great. The food was very good, the drinks at the bar were phenomenal. But what impressed me most was the team of bartenders without whom this trip would not have been the same. Anna, Esra, Todor, Nikolay are definitely the biggest plus of this hotel. I will never forget those few evenings meeting at the bar, drinking drinks and talking to them. Amazing people whom I hope to meet again someday.

let's start with the positive... reception staff and reception manager were really lovely and tried helping our situations. the bar staff were friendly and pleasant especially Nicolay! entertainment staff for the children and pool activities were amazing especially Yani. and honestly the food was really good! plenty of choice, very varied.and one of the chefs/servers Raynier ( blonde lady ) was soooo friendly. rooms were renovated well with good AC. now for the negatives.... I honestly believe ( and after talking to a few people ) this refurb was rushed!! 1) No AC in the restaurant for 6 days, we were dripping of sweat and couldn't eat. 2) the restaurant manager had a real anger problem and shouted in my face for wanting to take my food to the room as it was the only cool place! he actually made me cry. 3) No air con in bar either, and apparently there isn't any ?? really uncomfortable to sit there at night. 4) I don't even know where to start with the pool areas...like something from the 1980s.. definitely not refurbished. dirty areas, pools look dirty and tired but the worst issue was the god awful stench of sewerage coming from all the drains around the pool. 5) The daiquiri bar by the quiet pool is absolutely dreadful! god knows how they made it look like that on the video 🤣 6) if you want to use the snack bar you need to walk up loads of steps and only a choice of 3 things and the staff don't understand you at all. 7) and the entertainment on the video is fake news! you have to go up a load of dark stairs and the animation team did some dancing for the children. 8) the toilet near the bars behind the gym was filthy. 9) the day before our last I asked for my usual drink ( aperol spritz ) and the bar manager was working this day! he is the angriest looking bloke I've ever seen. very unprofessional and actually shouted at me in front of everyone saying...NO you can not have this drink....you give me money!! the bar staff looked embarrassed. 10) this hotel has the potential to be better but unfortunately still has a long way to go! DO NOT go expecting this to be a 4* as it most certainly is not!!!

Way too many people. Staff can’t keep up. There’s not enough tables, forks, knives, glasses or spoons for people. So you’ll have to wait for a table. Towels either have spots or are dirty. They also don’t give you new toilet paper, you’ll have to ask for it. The pool isn’t very clean. There’s sand in it. There’s also broken glass on the stairs in the pool. The food is tasty. But I could’ve made the same by getting all the ingredients at the super market. There’s no signs on what you’re eating. Not very easy when you have allergies. The hotel room has been good. But they sometimes just don’t wanna clean it, even though you put the sign up, saying that you want the room cleaned. The service is nonexistent. Also a big shoutout to the bartender that didn’t want to make the correct drink and then didn’t want me to give me the correct one after messing up my order…

The staff is kind, but if they don’t understand you, they’ll just be quiet and not answer. There are so many people, that the staff can’t keep up with the amount. So you will risk not being able to have a place to sit when they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides you waiting, you most likely won’t be able to find forks, knives or glasses. There’s supposed to be a quiet area with a pool, but it’s nowhere to be found.

Reception very helpful. Bar staff were very rude until bar manager Daniel stepped in after that no complaints. Entertainment team fantastic. Daiquiri bar men very rude and never smiled bar empty the whole of our stay sadly or this would have been a great bar to plot up in. Food ok Im a fussy eater and found something everyday. Be very careful when changing money at the hotel, the lady behind the counter never gave me the correct money once, then accused my 79 year old mum of taking more money off her than she should have, came out really shouting saying I gave you more money you need to give it back (basically calling her a thief) hotel manager very good soon came straight back and apologized on behalf of the hotel. Rooms basic but good enough. 10 minute walk to town.

The worst experience at this hotel in Bulgaria, I came for Easter with my family and they said that they have an indoor pool and parking and that everything is OK. it didn't work, it wasn't hot water, dirty plates, very little food at all in the conditions when the hotel was full, the very rude staff don't speak English, they scream at you and swear at their language. When we went to get our car after 2 days when we were parked, I found that it was scratched and hit. came in front of the hotel, and when he saw us he jumped into the fight and hit my wife as well. I called the police, they asked us what happened without giving any statement, and the hotel manager did not guarantee us that we will be safe They had a car, they didn't have surveillance cameras in front of the hotel. I called Booking, told them what had happened and they said they were calling the property and called us back immediately, and after an hour we called again, and they told us to wait for a quick offer from the property. that we have decided to stay another night! We will return in detail!
