Wellesley Park Hotel

Avoid!! By far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, there was stains on the beds/towels, room was not clean at all (dust) there was no welcoming us to the hotel more hounding us with a big list of rules. We brought a bottle of alcohol as a gift for someone back home and got it took off us. Never been such a bad hotel the service was appalling. We left after the first night and booked a different hotel.

I hated it. We were barely in the hotel yet Anna just kept giving complains and was lying and there were drunk men singing out loud and she thought it was us. Anna was on call all night and was screaming down the phone and we could hear her soo much. Yarmouth is a great place but the hotel trip ruined it. Aga poo shouts at kids and kids cry saying they wanna leave,not family/kid friendly!!!

WORST!!!SAVE UR MONEY.coffee table with stains,barely any bottles for the days. Say bathroom water is drinkable but probs can’t be asked to get water bottles.Bathrooms soo small.Anna was horrible since we first walked in and was rude. Wouldn’t recommend.

Lady body-shames me as 'skinny boy', furniture falling apart. Most TVs not smart, few channels. 1 of 2 smart TVs broken. She's rude to kids, complains, scary neighbors. Room service alr, lady possibly racist. Kids scared, thin walls, noisy.

We recently went for a quintessential British seaside holiday to Great Yarmouth and booked into this pet friendly hotel. Excellent location & spotless room. Anna the hostess couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Paid less than I usually would for a room but was happy with what I got. Room 25 was smallish but adequate for one person. Owners were pleasant and room was tidied every day with fresh towels. I often struggle to sleep in hotel beds but probably slept better than most I have tried. Hotel is in an excellent location very close to the beach.

Honestly don't know where to begin with this write-up. We've been making the August 176 mile trip to Great Yarmouth for many years now, stopped in different types of accommodation... Haven/private caravans at the seashore site and Caister, guest houses, Travelodge, Premier Inn and independent hotels. But, I can say without a shadow of a doubt and with the utmost sincerity that I have NEVER encountered anyone who cares so much about guest relations as Ana clearly does, a very rare quality in my book and something I have massive respect for. The hotel is very clean and tidy and you get the distinct impression of this before you even enter the building really. There is a focus on traditional values here, clearly reflected in the house rules (which are designed purely to be in the best interests of everyone at the hotel). I do not know how Ana could possibly find the time to pause and rest/relax with everything she has to do (even though, from what I could see, she does so efficiently and in a super organised manner). To Ana I'd just like to say: sometimes it's the little things that people take for granted that are seldom acknowledged in today's society. I would like to thank you, it was very much appreciated for making sure we were alright during our stay and giving us the chilled bottles of water and biscuits, you know... stuff like that, taking time out of your very busy schedule to... care. Also, I do love that seal bath mat... my wife tells me I get really sentimental about a lot of things but she's the one who told me about it/showed me, and anyway, she's just the same!

I was surprised what a long hike from the railway station to the sea front. The station doesn't have a bus stop! But when I got there the woman was there to say hello! she was pretty cheery. She showed me anything. She let me sort things out. How hard could it be. I am solo traveller. The room was pretty small, but the bed was a double. That is the important thing. There was an en suite shower and toilet. They were all fine. The shower was very good: you press a single button and good hot water comes out of the shower! BTW, being at the seaside made me SO tired. I went to the room really early and went straight to bet. Over the road from the hotel is the home stadium for Gt Yarmouth FC; walking through the ground is a shortcut. I saw the housekeeper most mornings. She is doing very bits of work. I was impressed with her. She NEVER hid away, I have seen other housekeepers do that. I was slightly disconcerted with the posters about people taking ***** in the rooms. That's not my scene. Obviously there is a problem with that. There was loads of towels and tea every morning. Good one! It was pretty cheap and I was very happy with my short holiday. The hotel wal very near the sea front. There were some plumbing sounds all night , but not too bad.

I stayed for 3 nights and I enjoyed my stay there. The owners were nice and the room was always tidy. The bed was comfortable and the Bathroom was clean as well. However, there was one problem, there was no breakfast included but that didn't matter as I could go out for breakfast. It was really good but I don't think I will be staying there again.
