Super 8 by Wyndham Greenville

Nice helpful folks at the front desk. Far away from the highway to be quite. Rooms were large , well laid out and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment but most motel breakfasts are.

A visit to TAMU-Commerce for a retired professors reception and concert. Greenville offers more choices for hotels. The hotel was clean, with hard floors, and bathroom very clean. There was a hole in the bedspread from a burn (cigarette in non-smoking room?) Very large room!

Motel was clean, remodeled but older. Everything worked well. The front desk lady was Sweet . Bed super comfortable, and had all the expected amenities, coffee pot in room with supplies, ironing board & iron, Breakfast was the only downside - coffee only , no tea, cold cereal, oatmeal packets, milk and apples 🍎 ! But for a night stay, well worth it ! Bring some hard boiled eggs or protein shake ! But right across the street McDonald's and a Arby's ! You could walk there ! Oh & bring water - no water dispenser in lobby or at Breakfast !

First, there are so many stains across the floor, the ceiling, and the walls they have not bothered with cleaning. Second, there are crickets and roaches everywhere. Falling from the roof. Coming through the cracks in the walls. Do not leave any of your luggage open and unzipped unless you want uninvited visitors to tag along with you for the entire time you’re in Texas. There was a cricket in my Pants ! If I could give a Negative review I would give it a -5/10. I’ve been to many super 8’s and this is by far the worst one we have ever stayed at. We will Not be staying here again.

Steer clear of this place. It is dirty and run down. Floor had not been swept or mopped in god knows how long, the top bed cover had visible stains, housekeeper did not rinse cleaner out of shower/tub, baseboards and corners where full of grime and hair. Overall dirty and run down.

The room was filthy. If it weren't for being exhausted from our 12 hour car ride we would have left right away. I was so uncomfortable in our room I barely slept and literally had nightmares when I did. The floor had not been washed in months or possibly years, there were nasty splatters of who knows what all over the walls, the base boards were pealing away from the walls, the TV had a thick line running through it, the fridge did not get cold, the ironing board was so disgusting with stains , our non-smoking room had burn holes in the sheets, the bathroom exhaust fan rattled so loudly when turning on the light. The night manager ran into our room before we entered and went into the bathroom with a screwdriver and said he was told the exhaust fan was ready to come down but said it was fine. That was not the case. The smoke detector had tape or plastic hanging from it as if another occupant tried to cover it up so they could smoke in the room. Upon turning our key in to the same night manager the next morning, we told him of how disgusted we were with the condition of the room and he remained completely silent. I'm sure he hears the same complaints all of the time. Before checking in to the Super 8, we also checked out the other hotels in that area and they seemed to be just as bad or worse. It looked as if the occupants were long-term tenants who where drinking alcohol in the parking, scoping out their surroundings and tossing litter where they pleased. The whole experience there was like a horror movie. I highly recommend skipping Greenville altogether and head to the next town.

I travel a lot, I have been to several states in this country, never have I seen or gone through what I saw in Super 8 Greensville TX, Dirty and dusty floors, rooms, bathrooms, fans had cakes of dust on the fan blades, I have photos, Breakfast were expired almost 2wks were served! I have photos as well. The customer service was very, very poor from Mr. & Mrs. Patel who were supposed to check us in. The poor cleanliness made my children came back sick. After the psychological trauma and abused suffered in the Lobby while checking in. For almost 2 hrs. we were thrown out. They charged us more dollar per person per night to sleep 3 people in 2 queens bedroom. Horrible experience!

If you’re looking for a place to get some sleep then this hotel is for you. The breakfast is okay. The hotel room was a little dirty, but manageable. Pool is open but the hot tub does not work and is not going to be reopened from what the staff had said.

It’s a good stay but definitely needs more tlc. Not necessarily upgrades but more on repairing the place, make it more pristine. I guess since it is a highway motel, can’t really blame the rooms for looking used-up. But overall, as long as it’s clean.
