A very peaceful part of the city, the breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful, but a little far away from downtown

Had a lovely stay here on my first night in Hanoi! Great location by the lake with plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away. Room was clean and beds were really comfy! Great cocktails at the bar too!

A fantastic guest house in a lovely and relaxing area of Hanoi near the lake shore. The staff are so kind and welcoming, and the place itself is beautiful, with a pretty courtyard for cocktails or coffees. Duy makes a mean mai tai. If you stay here, you may never want to leave. Love the free bathrobes and toiletries...comfy beds and great breakfasts too. Best spot in the city!

This is a great, family-run, guesthouse - it's an oasis in busy Hanoi. The staff are very welcoming and speak English. There's a bar area and comfortable seating downstairs - air-conditioned of course. The rooms range from well designed dorm rooms to individual rooms including the large double room I stayed in with a little balcony. The room has air-con, and an air-purifier, and it's cleaned daily. There's a shared bathroom, which wasn't a problem. It's cleaned regularly. It's only shared with 2 other rooms on that floor. The beds are very comfortable and clean. There's a chilled water dispenser, and great fresh-fruit drinks at the bar, as well as the usual bar drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included, which is great while you're finding your feet for the first time in Hanoi. There's a laundry service that is very efficient and affordable. The guest-house is right by the lake. There's early morning exercise just across the road. There's bars and restaurants as soon as you leave the guest-house. I would highly recommend Musketeers Guesthouse, and would definitely go back next time I visit Hanoi.
