Only staying one night but self check in efficient with comfortable beautifully decorated room in line with settings. Morning breakfast and service outstanding ahead of many 5 star hotels! Local gastro pub eateries nearby so if in area give the venue a look.

What can I say? This was brilliant. It was our wedding night and we had booked in here for a treat as we had our reception at the pub across the road. We had the Downshire room which was amazing. Beautifully finished with so many high end furnishings, but so comfortable as well. Easy system to check in and arrange breakfast and also great communication from Lynne the proprietor. Sadly we didn’t have enough time to use the amazing copper bath, but maybe next time. From a virtual derelict building to the lap of luxury in a couple of years is a phenomenal achievement. Highly recommended.

This is my 2nd visit to Arthur’s and had another amazing stay. I stayed in room 8 that has an amazing bath tub in the room. Breakfast both mornings were so good and all the staff so lovely & friendly. I look forward to staying here again in the future and highly recommend this property.

Rooms are beautifully furnished, each one individually styled and the over all feeling is of luxury. Beautiful bathrooms with everything you could possible need. Lovely friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast in the cafe down stairs was great. The historic village of Hillsborough is a perfect base for visiting Belfast and the surrounding areas. Lots of dining options and pubs on the doorstep. Perfect for families, couples and friends. Loved it.

Newly renovated to a very high standard. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Bedrooms Really well appointed with very comfortable beds, a great shower, fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious and service excellent. Will definitely recommend!

What a great little place this is! The whole place is spotless, the room we had was so comfortable with lots of lovely little touches around. Breakfast has to be mentioned. It was probably the best I have had in a hotel. The staff were just so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The granola pot to start was delicious and the fry up was perfect. Lots of juice and offers of tea and coffee, it was just really delightful. I only joined my son for 1 of the nights but when I wasn't there the staff were really helpful in giving him numbers for taxi and restaurants which I thought was nice of them. Would definitely visit again.

Spent one night in this fab hotel and wished I had booked for more than one. But I will be back soon for another stay. The hotel is beautiful. Many congratulations to Lynne and Jonathan on creating such a wonderful place. The welcome email contained all the necessary information and access and check in was easy. Loved my room (5), wonderful view towards the church, beautifully decorated and very clean. Lynne has thought of every small detail to enhance the stay and make it very enjoyable. Breakfast the next morning was probably the best I have had in a hotel. The young staff were lovely and food was amazing. Car park nearby and very cheap. A truly fabulous and relaxing experience!

couldnt fault our stay, excellent value, property was simply beautiful, breakfast was perfect, best coffee ive ever had. the attention to detail in the rooms is second to none. there is simply nothing the owners have not thought of. the package we had included breakfast lunch and dinner. exceptional value. thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 😊
