Villa Europa Hotel

I was in the room and the toilet was running- I woke up at 4:30 To go to the br and the entire room was flooded w dirty toilet water. The mgr was cleaning and broke my very expensive glasses and denied it. Then he put me in another room and the toilet didn’t work. The lady at the desk said I can’t put toilet paper in the toilet. I left my favorite pants there and they won’t return them. I’m fur- it’s a run down slimy dump w creepy owners.

This place is a gem for the price and location. Cute little place 1 block from the beach. Love the use of the bikes to ride the Broadwalk area. Very comfortable. Loved the kitchen. Don’t expect the Ritz. But a cozy comfortable place near the beach is what you will receive.

Worst customer service experience ever. I advised Luis I was calling to confirm my stay he got upset and berated me for calling. He even sent a condescending text to me after our call. I should have done better research prior to booking the room but my flight was canceled and I desperately needed a room for a night. Other reviews talk about how rude Luis is so dont my take my word for it. Checkout was 11am and at 10:50am they were knocking on the door asking when we were going to leave. The location is amazing its a min walk to the boardwalk.

one of the most affordable inns on hollywood beach, Villa Europa is worth staying at for location alone. was able to walk to any beach, restaurant, shop, etc that I needed within 10 minutes of the inn. Really nice touch to have the bike loans for free, as it costs quite a bit to rent them on the boulevard. Clean basic room with full kitchen.

The property is a serious contender for Hotel Impossible. The only positive is that the room was clean. However, our door had a hole at the bottom; the bathroom faucet kept falling off, the drain had to be held open to drain, and the vanity had the plastic facade peeling off in several places. The toilet seat was yellowing due to age. The small table was bolted to the wall and made it difficult for a person to sit in one seat in the corner, The side light were bolted to the headboard with 20w bulbs but you couldn't turn them on because the lamps kept falling over. Luckkly we only booked for one night before our cruise, but it's $185 not well spent.

We stayed for 5 days at the end of October. We were a little nervous before arriving due to a few bad reviews but were very happy with this choice! Like many, we chose this hotel for the price point, location and free parking and it did not disappoint. We booked a studio suite, got room 203. It was exactly as the pictures showed. It had a few quirky things. The TV was in a position that couldnt be seen from the bed and we were nervous to move the table and cords. The bathroom fan was especially noisy. The good news is the room was spotless, so very clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was stellar. There was a washer and dryer to use (outside!). We loved that we could take the lounge chairs to the beach which was so close. Loved the beach! The office was not always manned but the staff we did see where constantly asking if we needed anything. We didn’t use the bikes but they looked in good condition. Note that there was a For Sale sign in front of the building.

I travel a lot and this hotel had by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You don't expect much from a 2-star hotel but the rudeness and unhelpfulness of the staff was something to behold. Avoid this hotel at all cost. I promise, it's not worth it.

Definitely needs updating, but good value for the price. Free bikes, coolers, chairs, but all were in rough condition. Room was small, needs updates. A/C worked great. Toilet needed plunging after every use.

We unfortunately tested positive for Covid-19 48 hrs prior to our Caribbean cruise which included a one night stay at Villa Europa. We had documented positive PCR tests and legally could not fly from Canada, but Villa Europa charged us fully for the one night stay. Very disappointed that the hotel would not consider the extenuating circumstances and provide even a partial refund for our booking.
