Auberges de jeunesse à Manille

Definitely one of the cleanest, if not THE cleanest, of all the hostels I've been in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The bed is comfortable, towel is provided, and the toilet and showers are well-maintained. Across the hostel is a store and a carinderia (eatery) where you can buy affordable food and drinks. Make sure to order buffalo chicken wings for only Php 250. The silog meals are sold for as low as Php 85. There's a bakery and a coffee kiosk too; both located across the hostel building. When you exit the hostel, there is a Samgyupsal place and laundrymat to the right. Good service and great people too! There is a balcony where you can eat food ordered from Grab or FoodPanda. Location is also near Robinsons Manila, Rizal Memorial Tennis Center, DLSU Taft, and many government offices. Love it here! I will book again.

From the moment I entered, I felt the warm, welcoming energy. Staff greeted us with smiles, and the whole space felt like a calm retreat.

Comfortable Stay at Hotel Sogo Quirino Motor Drive Inn We recently stayed at Hotel Sogo Quirino Motor Drive Inn for two nights, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Quirino Avenue, making it easy to access various attractions in Manila. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Special thanks to Sir Supermario and Ma'am Eloisa for their excellent assistance during our check-in and check-out. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities such as air conditioning, a private bathroom, and free Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable, and we had a restful sleep during our stay. The hotel also offers 24-hour room service, which was very convenient. One area for improvement would be the breakfast options. While the hotel provides basic breakfast items, a wider variety of choices would enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, the hotel could benefit from some minor upgrades to the furniture and decor to give the rooms a fresher look. Overall, we would recommend Hotel Sogo Quirino Motor Drive Inn for those looking for a budget-friendly and comfortable stay in Manila. The excellent location, friendly staff, and clean rooms make it a good choice for both leisure and business travelers.

I have two issues with my stay. First, the staff did not bother to inform me that the road in front of the place is undergoing construction. Second, they will ask for ₱1,000 cash security deposit before you can go to your room, which was also a surprise to me. There were some stains on the sheet, some cracks on the wall, dirty aircon, the remote for this aircon also do not function. Also, do not forget to bring slippers because they do not provide it. Nevertheless, my stay was awesome because the bed is comfortable, they have water heater and the water pressure is good, I am also near to my destination (just 5 mins away), and the price is okay for 4 nights and 5 days stay.
