IInvitéThis is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included.
It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel.
The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options.
There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise.
Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us.
We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better.
Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese.
The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel.
The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves.
Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway.
The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.

EE3483****L'hôtel était très agréable. Nous avions réservé deux chambres et le petit-déjeuner et le dîner étaient copieux. Nous avions informé l'hôtel via Ctrip de notre réservation de deux chambres calmes et, à notre arrivée, on nous a attribué des chambres éloignées des ascenseurs. Il y a deux salles de bains communes : l'une au deuxième étage, avec un style rétro, et l'autre au dernier étage. Sans doute parce que nous avions réservé une chambre exécutive, nous avons été installés dans le salon pendant notre enregistrement. Le salon exécutif offre gratuitement du thé et de la bière, ainsi qu'un service personnalisé. Les transports autour du lac Toya ne sont pas très pratiques. Le deuxième étage de l'hôtel et les ascenseurs dégageaient une forte odeur d'huile de cuisson et la climatisation de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas, ce qui la rendait un peu froide. Dans l'ensemble, c'était plutôt bien.

My stay at Hotel Premium Lake Toya was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The food wasn’t just a meal; it was a truly exceptional experience made even better by the kind and attentive service. Every staff member made me feel warmly welcomed.
The shuttle service was very convenient, and the hotel even helped coordinate it around my schedule with care and thoughtfulness. I felt supported and relaxed the entire time.
One of the absolute highlights was the private onsen—it was warm, clean, and opened up to the most breathtaking view of Lake Toya. Soaking in that serene setting was deeply healing and peaceful.
Honestly, I don’t even know how to express my gratitude for such an amazing experience in Hokkaido. Everything was beyond expectations. Next time, I definitely want to stay for 3 or 4 days to enjoy it even more.

PPF CHENWe booked two rooms and found insects in ours on arrival. The staff was very apologetic and proactively upgraded us to a fantastic room with a private onsen and a stunning view of Mt. Yotei.
The new room was flawless: incredibly clean, with top-notch amenities and free parking. I particular like the mirrors in the room, very friendly to lady that needs to use for make-up purposes and the full body length mirror. It shows the thoughtfulness of the hotel for lady guests!
The hotel's handling of the situation was impeccable. They turned a negative into a overwhelmingly positive experience. Highly recommended!

IInvitéIl est très pratique de rejoindre et de quitter l'hôtel à ski, le prix de la location de snowboards est également bon et il est pratique de manger. Il y a plusieurs restaurants parmi lesquels choisir et le petit-déjeuner est correct. La source chaude est particulièrement agréable et vous pouvez voir le paysage enneigé, ce qui est parfait pour se détendre après le ski.
Service : J'ai réservé deux nuits au début, puis j'ai ajouté une nuit supplémentaire. J'ai dû effectuer le check out et le check in à nouveau, ce qui était un peu rigide et peu pratique.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. The onsen was a highlight — peaceful and rejuvenating with a great atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, featuring a wide variety of delicious and high-quality dishes. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lake Toya.

LLeong FamilyThe staff are not knowledgeable on 3rd party ski hire or ski school. We returned the equipment 1 day earlier and the staff said ok and asked if we are fine with 50% refund. We said yes. The next day they said they never said this.....no English, and don't ask questions, they will not be able to answer. They are well mannered and kind, just no direction and very messy.
Bus schedule is also confusing, staff are not clear and busses don't often come without calling and reminding. They say it is due to weather condition, but it wasn't.
You need to book set menu dinners at their one and only restaurant, 3 days in advance. We missed the Christmas set dinner, and even though on the phone to reserve the table, we asked for set menu, they didn't decline and they didn't say we needed 3 day advance notice. So we went and ordered small alacarte meals. Small dishes but were absolutely delicious.
Hot Spring facility is excellent. Rooms are clean and the layout is fantastic. They have a washing machine that dries as well. Bring your own laundry detergent
But I must give 100% credit to them as we left our bag at the lobby and they arranged to send it to Tokyo for us and called the receiving hotel as well,.

JJoedyHotel is within walking distance to the bus terminal where the bus from Toya Station stops at. The room is huge and spacious, and there is a clear view of Lake Toya from the room. Room is clean, but it is a smoking room so if you cannot take the smell, you can always open the windows to air the room. Nevertheless, the room is clean and there is a hot bath at the basement of the hotel that you can enjoy after a day of sightseeing. The only regret I have is only staying a day at the hotel. Will consider staying multiple days the next time. Highly recommend for budget conscious travellers who wants to stay around Lake Toya without breaking the bank!

PPYN22One of the more affordable onsen hotel along the lake. Small on price but definitely did not compromise on comfort and quality. Dated building but the bed and room was clean and comfortable.

I stayed in a single room facing the mountain. Even though it was along the road, it was not noisy.

One minus... Like many older onsen hotels in Japan, the carpets are dusty. It triggered my sneezing and I don't usually get allergic with dust!
