Turkoman Hotel

Отличный отель в непосредственной близости от площади Султанахмет. С видом из номеров на Голубую мечеть и Босфор. Наверху отеля есть отличная терраса, на которой подают завтрак. Там же можно в любое время спокойно посидеть с чаем. Очень доброжелательный персонал. Номера теплые,тихие. До остановки трамвая Т1 минут 5 пешком, через площать Султанахмет. Рядом много магазинов и хороших кафе

Nous avons réservé cet hôtel car il restait très peu d'hôtels, car c'était le week-end du Nouvel An. L'hôtel est dans un excellent emplacement, le petit déjeuner était bon pour un hôtel économique. Le personnel est très amical et serviable. La chambre que nous avions était très démodée mais propre. La salle de bain a une tringle à rideau pour la douche mais pas de rideau et la pomme de douche était la pire que j'aie jamais vue. Cependant, il y avait beaucoup d'eau chaude. Si vous êtes à la recherche d'un hôtel économique, c'est un très bon hôtel.

Hotel is very good ,clean and simple,near the center of Sultanahmet,close to Hipodrome,Blue mosque,and Hagia Sophia .Breakfast was ok ,good coffe and tea.The owner is very polite ,rooms clean and good wifi especially in terrace!

Great place to stay near the Ottoman Empire landmarks. Rate was very good using online service. Room was clean and comfortable (not elegant), staff was very helpful. Was able to provide transfer from IST at a reasonable price. I would stay there again.

It was in 2010 that I had last been to this hotel and I was happy to see that it was still run by Rifat, the friendly and quiet manager-receptionist. Since up to then I had been regularly bringing small groups to this hotel, he remembered me too. The hotel is in an attractive 19th century house just by the Hippodrome and next to the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art. Location couldn't be better. A most attractive feature is the breakfast room on the top floor with a small terrace and great views. There is a buffet with a nice choice of Turkish items. The rooms are all a bit different, also in quality, which could be a problem, when bringing a group. This time though I had come with my wife and our grown up grandson. During our week long stay we had to change the room three times. First we were in a regular room facing the Blue Mosque, but then one day the air conditioning broke down and couldn't be fixed. So we moved to the room on the opposite side, facing a wall. Here paint was peeling off the ceiling, a handle was missing from a drawer, which thus couldn't be opened and the fridge was completely out of function. Next we went up to a superior room with a small balcony, again facing the Blue Mosque.

The Hotel Turkoman really was the centre of our fantastic family holiday to Istanbul. Even before we arrived the correspondence was prompt and accomodating. We arrived way before check-in to find that our room was ready and we were even offered breakfast (8am-10:30am) which was very much appreciated after flying from Australia. Breakfast was a highlight of each day with a changing array of cakes, hot food, fruit, vegetables, cereal, breads and cheeses. The lady serving would also teach us Turkish words and customs while feeding the trained seagulls. We stayed in the Bergama family room with a queen sized bed, separated by a bathroom and two single beds. This worked well for our family of 4 although climbing the stairs is challenging after a long day exploring. The room boasted a big window which we left open at night for the breeze but the A/C in the main room did work well, a TV which we never turned on, a tiny mini-fridge to cool bottled water and an over bath shower with good supply of hot water. The downside to the room is that it’s a bit dated and there were things like the exhaust fan being noisy and some lights not working. Street noise is a bit of a problem if you’re a light sleeper, there are no blockout blinds and the flip-side to being ridiculously close to the Blue Mosque is that the Call to Prayer is really loud but by our 4th night I was sleeping through it. Other than the location and price, it’s the staff which make this hotel a great experience. They are helpful, welcoming and were tirelessly tidying and cleaning while we were there. Speaking of location this hotel is so close to a lot of attractions and the tram stop that we would come back during the day just for showers to cool off and rest before heading out again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who can look past a few defects to stay right in the heart of Sultanahmet for a great price.

This hotel is located in Sultanahmet and it’s just a 5 mins walk from the Blue mosque. The room is just basic but it has all you need. It also has a free breakfast. You can see the blue mosque from the terrace. The staff are all nice and friendly. They helped me arranged a transfer to the airport at 3am. I would definitely stay here again next time.

Отель находится в самом центре Стамбула. Да, он старенький, но это нисколько не убавляет его плюсов. Т.к. мы прилетели в Стамбул гулять, то в отеле только ночевали. Отзывчивый персонал. Очень удобный матрас на кровати, идеальное белое, все равно как накрахмаленное, постельное белье, хорошие полотенца, За 4 ночи у нас его меняли 2 раза, полотенца каждый день. В номере есть батарея, можно регулировать температуру, греет хорошо. На последнем этаже терраса, где проходят завтраки. Вид оттуда красивый - на Голубую мечеть. Завтраки скромные, но мы были сытые и нам их хватало. По крайней мере не тратили время на походы с утра в кафе. В следующий раз снова остановимся в этом отеле.
