Johor Bahru R&F Princess Bay Changfeng Residence Hotel

The place was nice. Suitable for family with kids. Location wise is very near to Singapore. After long hours on the bridge to cross back to Malaysia, it’s good that the apartment was near so that we can reach home early and rest early. The check in and out was smooth. But the quest to finding the parking lot was quite adventurous 😅

The good: comfortable bed, decent cleanliness, working aircon, game console was cool, nice view at #48. The bad: Host expect you to contact them on the day else no sound no pic. Sent a series of pictures and videos, shock to see they asked for deposit and my passport photo as part of their requirements. I’m not comfortable with that. Drivers beware: This unit located at B1-2 is damn troublesome. I had to park outside the gantry and walked all the way to the end of the building (approx 200m one way) to get the card. The guard weren’t familiar with such arrangement had to call another guard over to assist in order to let me into the mailroom to retrieve the access card. After that had to walk all the way back again to the entrance. When I drove to the gantry, the access card didn’t work, guard had to come over again to assist. End up found out it’s because the previous user did not “tap out” so we can’t “tap in”. The wayfinding in the carpark is worse ever. Don’t know where to go up, don’t know where to exit. Turn round and round the entire carpark to find and realised it’s in the middle of nowhere. Now for the accommodation itself, it’s decent. Towels were provided. No toothbrush provided but 8 combs provided instead (pic). The cups were damn disgusting (pic). Overall will not return as the carpark and checkin experience was really a huge turnoff.

We had a truly wonderful one-night stay at YIQIYIHUI (一期一会)! The apartment was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The decor created such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere — it genuinely felt like a home away from home. The host was very friendly and responsive, making our check-in and overall experience smooth and hassle-free. Location-wise, it was perfect — peaceful yet close enough to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We especially appreciated the little touches like complimentary mineral water, fast Wi-Fi, and the super comfy bed! Would highly recommend YIQIYIHUI to anyone visiting Johor Bahru. We can’t wait to come back again for a longer stay!

The room is so clean, it’s spacious and the view outside is good. Although we had a little bit of difficulty booking a grab going there, the owner is kind enough to guide us how to go. Even late at night, she answers my queries. Will definitely book again next time 🥰❤️

the room smells of cigarette smoke. although the CS responded through buying a spray. but it’s only the ff day it was resolve coz need to sanitize the sofa b4 the smell could be gone. other than that our stay is quite ok.

As this is my first visit, I had to ask someone for direction upon my arrival. I encountered a few problems. Firstly I had to open the mailbox to get the key and card. Luckily the guard was around to help me. When I entered the lift , the lift could not respond and I had to ask the guard again for help. Upon entering the room I could not turn on the air conditioner. I had to call the hotel staff for help. The stay was excellent for a couple of days but not for long term. There is no place to hang the clothes. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang towel and clothes.
