Hotel Meyyappaa

Hotel was good but chargeable for water also additional cost for everything but clean and neat rooms for 3 people's and nice washroom.

The hotel is very small with just 13 rooms above a shopping complex. The rooms were neat but toilet door needs repair as it is rotten partly.

Overrated hotel, with no basic amenities. No restaurant in the hotel but morning breakfast complimentary. You will get parcel idly / dosa from some nearby roadside restaurant. For the walkin room tarrif is 2000 - for makemytrip booking its 3000+taxes.

The room overall was average and could have been better. Dust could have been cleaned well. It was a non ac room with one window located on the third floor next to the hotels laundry area. Privacy wise we dint have much trouble. Heater facility is not available. Only one charging port so if you are three people sharing the room then you have to take turns to charge. Breakfast was complimentary but will not be provided before 8. 30am for which you can order only after 7am. We chose to check out without breakfast because of such constraints. Otherwise as per other reviews they did provide dental kits, soap n towels

Hotel is located centrally. Maintenance is not upto the mark. Free water flow is not there in wash room. Water gets stagnated and goes slowly.

Rooms are neat. Service can be improved, no blankets, towels,. Etc, we have to ask every things, menu card was present, no food available they said order outside.

I will start off the review with my approach to the hotel. Little bit hard to find since it’s present within a complex and not explicitly visible on first sight although they do have some barricades in front of the hotel and board up top of the building which gives you the confidence that you found the place. It had a minimal parking space outdoors. The ambience of the hotel was fine. The staffs also were really kind and helpful. Next up the room, i had booked a standard double ac for 3 people. The room was decent sized with necessary amenities. Found it slightly dusty on the table top under the tv but not pretty much on a complaining level. They provided an extra bed which fit perfectly around the corner of the room. Once disappointment though was there was only one plug point in the whole room and we travel-led with a couple of electronic devices found it difficult to charge one by one. The ac in the room was fitted pretty much away from the bed, so had to have the ac at a very low temperature all the time. One more quirk was there was no night lamp in the room and for someone who would like to have the room slightly lit at night might find it difficult. Coming to the bathroom, that also was decent sized. All necessary things were working perfectly but the shower was broken. They provided soap and dental kit but there were no towels in the bathroom. Since we carried our own, never enquired about it. They had this whole staging area in front of each room with a table and chairs for relaxing and other stuff which i saw for the very first time and it was really unique. Great to have when you want to have a chitchat or play some games with your friends and family. Then coming to the services they provide, they don’t have a restaurant here. But they can get you food if you order through room service. I tried to order but they said it would take an hour for them to deliver, so cancel-led the order and went out to have food. This whole food at doorstep was not entirely bad thought. We did order coffee which was delivered in 10mins and that was good, both in terms of quality and service. We stayed there just for one night and the small flaws in the room didn’t bother us much except for the plug point situation. Overall it was good, except for these little quirks, it was a pretty good place to stay.

The rooms were clean and tidy. Convenient location. Parking space for 4 cars available. Overall good stay. . Don't expect 3 star or 5 star. But it's ok.
