Very good hotel as everything was nice. My friend and I would surely stay here again next time we visit Kathmandu. Great location, great service and friendly staff. Room is Very comfortable & Breakfast was fantastic . I Would definitely recommend this Hotel!

房間很好很乾凈，離泰米爾街很近，出行方便。原本要帶孩子來的，可惜大兒作業不好好做，他爸發火取消了他的出行。變成了我一個人的旅行，獨自享用這個大房間。早上坐在客廳的小陽台上看鴿子看烏鴉，聽唸經的聲音成為了我早上愜意的時光。早飯在樓頂吃，小廚師都很和氣，每天笑咪咪的，穿白衣服廚師長衣服的男孩去過北京長城，他希望再去一次中國。一樓前台的小哥哥小姐姐還有一個大爺都很好，盡力幫助我解決問題。店主大衞是個帥小夥子，努力的在學中文。如果初次來尼泊爾，可以在店主這裏找小龍，一個尼泊爾會中文的小夥子，我在尼泊爾的行程都由他安排，非常好非常有責任心的小夥子，玩了加德滿都，奇特旺，博卡拉，很滿意。但是要注意，小龍衹作為遊客在尼泊爾的聯繫人，衹負責聯繫，購票等事宜。並不能對行程中其他人的行為有什麼約束，半自由行旅者需要有一定自我解決問題的能力，這一點務必要搞清楚。不能和國內的旅遊制度來相比，但基本約定的行程是一定可以完成的。在尼泊爾十二天，我很滿意酒店和小龍，謝謝你們！我很喜歡尼泊爾和尼泊爾人民，我會帶着孩子再來的！

Himalayan Ghar was a really lovely experience for me and my companions. Although we had a short stay, we had all our needs met, the breakfast was great and the staff were wonderful. The lovely receptionist also helped me pay an amount I owed to a local person with the help of a local app. The rooms were huge with an included kitchen and living room, it was an apartment hotel. The food in the restaurant was also really delicious. They also arrange tours internally and the driver was also very nice. Loved the stay, thank you :)

I paid for a week and after the second night the air conditioner stopped working. I spoke to the front desk early the next morning, but in the afternoon they said they did not know when it would be fixed. I asked for another room and they said "no, fully booked", although I could have booked one via *********** (who BTW won't even respond to my messages. So, I just booked a room on another hotel and though I'll eat the loss, I won't spoil our vacation. The owner/manager does not give a damn about guests, and there are many other hotels. STAY AWAY from THIS PLACE!!!!!!

I’ve stayed at Himalayan Ghar on two separate occasions now and both times it’s been great. It’s conveniently located in the heart of Thamel yet set back from the main street. The rooms are tastefully decorated with traditional touches and come with a range of amenities, including toiletries and a mini bar. Breakfast is also served on their lovely rooftop terrace. The service is friendly and the staff will be very happy to help arrange taxis, offer advice on day trips, etc. I’d highly recommend Himalayan Ghar as an affordable and convenient place to stay in Thamel.

Great hotel close to the (touristic) centre Thamel. Very nice rooms (with mini bar), great bed and good shower and toilet facilities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel lies in a quiet location at just a few minutes walking from Thamel. I’ve stayed in a number of hotels (in the same price range) during my stay in Nepal, but Himalyan Ghar was by far the best. Great value for money!

I had the opportunity to stay in Himalayan Ghar several times. Each time it felt like coming home again. The location, the facilities, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the roof top, the staff, the management - all of these points deserve 10 out of 10 points. Highly recommended!

it was the best hotel in a year of continuous wandering around the world! his owner, the tone of communication, courtesy and care - this is so lacking for a lonely traveler! The room is a separate delight! The kitchen is every housewife's dream. and sincerely wanted to take the chest in the bedroom with me) when I fly to Kathmandu again, the question of where to stay will no longer be. what a pleasure it is

Perfect location and quiet place, clean big rooms. Staff extremely kind and polite. Didn't order the food but I'm sure it's also high quality. For sure would recommend Himalayan Ghar Hotel for staying.
