Dan Linehans Bar and B&B

We received a warm welcome from Ronan, one of the employees. He even helped carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor (which we'd call the 3rd floor), where the guest rooms are located. The room was clean, the beds and pillows comfy, and the bathroom adequate. The owners left water, snacks and chocolate for us upon our arrival - nice touch! The highlight of our stay was breakfast each morning in the breakfast room on the 1st (2nd) floor. Those breakfasts were the best of our whole trip! Norita is an amazing chef, and not only did we love the food she prepared for us, but we enjoyed chatting with her as well. Her brown bread was the best we had in Ireland, and the pancakes (which we'd call crepes) were delicious with nutella and banana slices. Her omelet was great, too. It was a little strange that we never met the owners, but Chef Norita's friendliness more than made up for that.

We have nothing but good things to say about our stay. We were booked for 5 nights, but unfortunately we had a flight cancellation and only stayed for 4. Wish we could have stayed longer. Siobhan is a wonderful host. Her family and staff are also great. We felt like we were being treated as family. Breakfast was amazing, with everything you could want. The rooms while on the small size (we took over 4 of their 6 rooms) were comfortable. Beds were great. We had no noise from the bar at all. It is in central Killarney, so easy access to everything. We would stay here again, and highly recommend.

Wonderful stay, everything was perfect. Siobhan is a fantastic host, same as her family/team. Pretty room in a quiet building in the lovely town of Killarney. The breakfast room is beautiful and the food is so delicious. Siobhan went above and beyond to make me a different vegan breakfast every morning during my 4 night stay. Thank you for everything.

We stayed in July 2022 and what a place! Staff were all so lovely and very welcoming. We stayed in room 4 and it was perfect, big comfortable double bed and a lovely single bed aswell. Tv and a kettle were also in the room. Bathroom was gorgeous but that shower, out of this world 🔥🔥. Lovely Bar downstairs showing horse racing 🏇🥃. First morning I had the French Toast with Banana and Maple Syrup was gorgeous, mom got the Full Breakfast and she said it was gorgeous. Second morning I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and mom got beans on toast 😋😋. Wifi provided too. Parking in the car park across the road was very helpful and around €7 for the day 🚗. Bit of noise at night but it is situated in the heart of Killarney so you can’t complain, I slept like a log anyway 😆. Highly recommend everyone visit❗️We will definitely be staying again ❤️

We loved our 3-night stay here and would easily stay here again if we are back in Killarney. Everything in our room was clean and comfortable. The pub downstairs was great and felt like an actual locals hangout (which not everywhere in Killarney did). The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, so delicious, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations on our itinerary.

After staying at some bigger hotels during other parts of our Ireland trip, Dan Linehan's felt really friendly and cozy. The bar downstairs is welcoming and the staff is helpful and friendly. Above that is the first floor where the breakfast room is located (lots of great breakfast options!) and then the 5 rooms of the B&B are on the floor above that. We didn't hear any noise from the bar downstairs and slept soundly. The room was absolutely spotless, comfortable bed, and a well-equipped bathroom. We really loved staying here – it was the best accommodation of our entire Ireland trip! We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely stay in this B&B. Booked for 2 nights initially but ended up staying for 3. Staff were very helpful throughout the whole stay. Beds were very comfortable and the standard of room was very high for the money we paid. Great showers and the breakfast options were brilliant.

So lovely to feel a part of the family in a b&b!! Siobhan and Hen made us so welcome and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as wonderful as they could. During a mad busy week with Cheltenham/St Patrick’s Day combining they were very busy and took the time to pay attention to detail. The room was spotless, the bedding high thread count and comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding using locally sourced produce and even satisfied this “sausage snob”!!! The bar is lovely and fun and the customers and staff treated you like a local! Thank you so so much for giving us a taste of the real Ireland!

Siobhan was such a lovely host and made sure we were taken care of. I got sick during our stay and she brought a tray of tea and toast to my room - it was truly such a comfort to me and I was so grateful for her care and concern. We were in room 4 which is a front room - we didn’t hear any street noise or noise from the bar and slept well during our stay. We would happily stay here again if we ever return to Killarney.
