Excellent location. Friendly team. Great breakfast included. Very nice and quiet spa area. A pleasure not to hear screaming children in the pool area although on other occasions it’s nice to hear them. My wife and I had excellent massages which we both agreed were delivered professionally and with pride so as to make the price seem good value. Thanks Elena and Yelena. The ski locker is large and with plenty of boot warmers. You can purchase your ski pass from the hotel reception and through out they were courteous. We still have two more days but just incase I forget I wanted to review now. Others may have different experiences but from travelling extensively I will put this down as a hotel to recommend and hopefully return to. Thanks team.

Great stay in Kitzbuhel. Breakfast was one of the best for a small hotel, bar was lovely, and staff very helpful and friendly. We used both the rooftop pool and spa facilities which were a great bonus. Only issue we found was no air con or temp control in the room so we found it to be quite warm at night. Overall would recommend as close to the slopes and centre of town.

We spent three nights at Hotel Schwarzer Adler, but our stay didn't go smoothly. Right from the start, we had problems with no hot water in the bathroom. We told the staff, but they didn't fix it, even after we asked twice. After our third time asking we had to change our room what wasn’t ideal because we had to pack up our whole stuff and unpack it again. The receptionist, Nadja I think was her name, wasn't very nice! The spa was gross! The breakfast wasn't good. The milk for cereal was bad, and when we told the staff, they just laughed and said it happens sometimes. Plus, they didn't speak much English, which made things harder. The only thing they did to make up for it was waive the parking fee, but that didn't really make up for not having hot water. Overall, we weren't happy with our stay at Hotel Schwarzer Adler and wouldn't recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 nights early July and we were really happy with our stay here; Started at check-in with the most welcoming and helpful staff, really the best start you can get! The room we has was also really nice and clean, and we had a balcony as well with view directly towards the mountain side, what more can you ask for? The breakfast buffet is one of the better ones, food very fresh and good selection as well, and again, the staff very nice, making you feel good as a guest! So all in all, a very nice hotel and will for sure stay here next time I go to Kitzbuhl…, if possible to give 6 start I would, for the whole package here was perfect!

Excellent Hotel. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Their attention to detail is to be recommended. The room we had was very spacious. The spa, sauna and indoor swimming pool are as advertised. The roof top pool is a huge plus. Difficult to find any fault with the hotel. Thanks for a great holiday.

We are on our way home after a week at the Schwarzer Adler. We found it to be a great hotel, very friendly and accommodating. We booked with Crystal Ski and had a trouble free experience all the way from Manchester Airport, right up to Kitzbuhel. The transfer from Salzburg takes about 1.5 hours. The hotel is in the center of the village and is immaculate. We had a lovely room overlooking the main street. The staff are very helpful and very much what we'd expect in a quality hotel. For example, we booked a yoga session at a sister hotel about a mile away and they arranged for one of their hotel cars to take us up there. Amazingly, once the yoga was over the driver came and found us to take us back. No charge for the transfer. The room was great and cleaned thoroughly every day. In fact the entire hotel was very clean at all times. We only ate in the restaurant once as it is quite expensive. However, it as very good. Just one point to note - when we arrived for our meal they brought bread to our table. On the bill they'd charged us 6 euros for it. Breakfast was very relaxed and there was a great choice of hot and cold food. Something for everyone - lovely quality and plenty of quantity. No rush to get out of the dining room. We did occasionally drink in the hotel bar - again very friendly and welcoming. As for the skiing, it was hard (not impossible) to ski down to the village due to lack of snow. The gondola does come down, though, so you have to make sure you finish in the right place. We booked ski equipment on line and it was with a shop called Element 3 - great service. They also provided overnight storage in their boot room so no need to walk back tom the hotel with kit. The bottom of the gondola is up a bit of a hill - it got longer as the week went on! The town has plenty of small bars and restaurants; some of the better ones are very small and a reservation is required. Mainly Italian cooking. We didn't use and paper money - everything was paid for on Apple Pay. There are some bars that only take cash so we learnt to check before ordering. We were still able to eat and drink out very much to suit our needs. The hotel spa was fantastic after a day's skiing. The pool was a bit cool, but we loved the various saunas, steam rooms and lovely hot showers, Nice and relaxing water beds to lie on and sleep, or read. Finally, we ordered the hotel breakfast pack as we had an early coach to the airport. I don't think we've had such a good send off - very welcome pack of food, including a lovely fresh bread ham/cheese roll, fruit, cereal bars, bottled water, etc. All in all we'd recommend this hotel. We loved it and can't wait to get back.

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed the stay, the stylish decor, excellent service / food and bar, wonderful spa (ask for Andracz and Iwona for massage), great service anywhere in a relaxed athmospere, the adult only policy and perfect location at entrance of the village Kitzbühel. Don't get why they only open the amazing roof top during summer, would really be great with that view and during sunny, days in March/April.... Rooms are simple and functional, nothing fancy. Valet parking is a plus.

We recently stayed at the Schwarzer Adler Kitzbuhel for 4 nights for a short ski vacation. We booked one of the more expensive top floor rooms, beautiful mountain views, beautiful design and room layout. Excellent spa, very nice bar and dining, very good chef. However, two days before leaving we needed to perform a covid test in order to be able to board our flight. We asked at the reception for help in order to find a lab to perform the test in Kitzbuhel. The answer was that she cannot assist us, she has no time or personnel for such demands , that it is not a 5 star hotel with a concierge (mind you, our rate was above 500 Eur/ night for B and B...) and that she has no intention to help us. All this was said with such a rude and almost aggressive attitude I have never encountered before in a respectable hotel. A humiliating experience, what a shame!
