Heavenly Homestay

The garden was very beautiful and well maintained. The cats here were friendly, and the room seemed well maintained. However, the air conditioner was not cool, and the refrigerator was usable, but it looked like it needed cleaning. Mr. and Mrs. Patrick and Mary and his family were all very kind. a good experience.

Our hosts, Patrick and Mary, were fantastic. We enjoyed a beautiful room in a house with lush gardens and a lovely rooftop space. Their homestay is located within an easy walk of all of the main Fort Kochi attractions. An added bonus was going out for an early morning swim with Patrick each day at a nearby beach. Patrick also organised a nice yoga class with a local instructor named Ramesh on his rooftop after one of our morning swims. We highly recommend Heavenly Homestay. It is great value for money and a thoroughly pleasant experience.

If you are coming to Fort Cochi then this is a wonderful place to stay. Patrick and Mary are so kind and helpful. The first floor room has A/C and a fan. A small balcony as well as an outside seating area. The bathroom is modern with lots of hot water, toiletries and little touches. The roof terrace has a washing machine and lines that are so useful and surprisingly no extra cost to do your washing. The daily breakfast cooked by Mary is varied and tasty. We loved staying here! The bed is super comfortable and wifi is excellent . The Tuk Tuk tour Patrick arranged is brilliant if you are new to the area, otherwise everything is in walking distance.

My husband, son, I and a friend stayed 2 nights there. It is a wondeful place to stay: the owners are very kind and we feel at home. The rooms have all the facilities: air conditioning, WC, air drier, one fan on the celing and everything is very clean. The house has a beautiful garden that reminds me my childhood in Africa! We had the breakfast at the dining room of the house. It was very good. The next time we will go to Fort Kochi, we will go there again, certainly.

Being off season for the price charged and looking at the pics and the reviews I was expecting a better experience.The rooms were small and had basic infrastructure with poor wifi connections.The only saving grace was that the rooms and sheets were clean.The main advantage was that the area was close to the beach and walkable distance from the main Fort Kochi touristy area.For the price there were ***y homestays with better facilities available in the vicinity

We had a fabulous week at this home stay it’s in a very good location, close to everything and yet still peaceful. The room was very clean with ac, shower , balcony, lots of power outlets, a fridge. Mary is a super cook and provides wonderful new things to eat each day. Both Patric and Mary are super helpful full of useful information, and assistance with travel.

The homestay is situated in a chilled out location in Fort Kochi and is very accessible for sightseeing, dining, recreation and generally getting around. The building is well maintained, surrounded by trees and plants. The rooms are very clean and come with ***y amenities such as WIFI, fridge, TV etc. The bathroom are cleaned every day too. Overall hygiene was well taken care of. The highlight for me was the terrace...gorgeous, filled with beautiful potted plants creating a laid back atmosphere which I would enjoy most evenings. There were also a lot of birds singing around in the morning as the building in engulfed in trees....great start to my mornings. Also, there were some cute and friendly pet cats about too. Great spot for nature lovers. The breakfast was complimentary and I was very happy with the quality of the food we were served. I preferred the South Indian Kerala styled breakfast. However, one can request for other breakfast options too; the hosts are flexible to accommodate your choice. The hosts - Patrick and Mary were very gracious and welcoming. They were available to us for any query that we had. They even went out of their way to help me source some authentic, local and home-made wine and pickles, which I definitely would not have found on my own. I am glad that I found this homestay as it enhanced my vacation while also being budget friendly. It was sincerely the best hospitality experience that I have had in a homestay till date. Highly recommend it to anybody visiting Fort Kochi. Steves.

Very joyful and memorable stay. The host was very helpful with organizing our days in this area and recommending better ways to travel to certain points. Breakfasts were delicious! The location is also great as it’s a walking distance from various restaurants and shops. Highly recommended

The lovely couple in charge of this honestay in the Fort area made us feel welcomed. The room was somewhat small but spotlessly clean, whit water boiler and an ensuite bathroom equally clean. Breakfast eas tasty with Kerala specialities, different every day. Highly recommended
